K&F Show #81{The Final DukesCast that Launched Kibbe and Finnegan: Our Review of S1 Episode 4 of the Dukes of Hazzard!
44:20

As you've heard by now....we're taking a little break from running traditional ads right now. That means that right now the only support for this show is coming from you! Consider this your no-guilt-yet-kinda-begging request to take a look at contribution to our show on Patreon. We have $1, $2, $5, and $10 monthly options available - or you can just do something of your own choosing too. In addition to our undying love, Patreon supports will receive an exclusive once-per-month Q&A show with us - no holds barred! Our next one comes out the final week of August 2018, but if you sign up now you can get all of the previous months shows too - no waiting required. You can jump in by visiting www.patreon.com/kfshow. Thank you, thank you!

This is it. Before there was the Kibbe and Finnegan show there was the "DukesCast" segment on The MuscleCar Place, and today's K&F is an inclusion of the very last one! This is Episode 4 from Season 1 of the Dukes titled "Repo Men", which originally was featured in The MuscleCar Place (Episode 282)! It is one of the most pivotal of Dukes episodes ever for two reasons: 1) It's because Lee 1 (the General that makes the jump at the end of the opening credits of the show) was repurposed as the Richard Petty race car...that 20 years later would be found, restored, and sold to PGA stud Bubba Watson, and 2) this episode featured Jerry Rushing as "Ace Parker." Jerry was a real honest-to-God moonshiner, had a speedy Mopar as his runner, told all of his tales to Gy Waldron (the creator of the Dukes), and claims to be the real life inspiration for the best driving, most lady attracting, blondest character of them all: Bo Duke. Jerry also thought he was going to have a recurring role in the show...but this was his one and only appearance. Hope you enjoy!

K&F Show #80{The Great Bank Robbery: S4 Episode 6 of the Dukes of Hazzard
1:03:52

This is your conscience reading to you. Support Kibbe and Finnegan on Patreon. They need you. They miss you. And they want to hear from you in the monthly Patreon only Q&A episode! Again, this is your conscience speaking. Do what you know needs to be done. Visit http://www.patreon.com/kfshow and make some dreams come true. (Still your conscience.)

If you're thinking this is the one where Daisy falls in love, or that this is the one where the Dukes almost lose the farm, or whatever the third regularly used plot line is, you are in for a treat. This has none of those. And other than a sweet drift and a sickening crash into a tree it barely has any General Lee either. We didn't love it, so here's the summary. An old man that you've never seen before (or will again) gets fired by Boss Hogg,  one day shy of shy 30 years on the job. This makes him ineligible for his $30,000 pension. So, he robs the bank vault of the $30K. The Dukes put it back before Boss notices. The end.

Hey again, this is still your conscience. You considered it before, then paused. I know you, man. I can read you like a book. Go support those boys on Patreon and put me at ease! We'll both feel better. http://www.patreon.com/kfshow.

K&F Show #79{The Fugitive: S4 Episode 5 of the Dukes of Hazzard
53:05

This episode is - once again - powered by you! We're all in on Patreon support and now have $1, $2, $5, and now $10 monthly options available. You can also just do something of your own choosing too. In addition to our undying love, Patreon supporters will receive an exclusive once-per-month Q&A show with us too! The July episode posted last week and new supporters can absolutely go get all the back episodes (we started in May). Thank you, thank you!

Dukes Review: Ah, the repeating tale of a foxy co-ed trying to make her way through the south by selling t-shirts to raise money for her nursing school tuition. It's a tale as old as time. Throw in a car jump here and there, a motocross, and a motorcycle chop-shop and it makes for a very entertaining Dukes episode. The foxy chick, who we'll refer to as Starbuck's girlfriend for now, witnesses Boss Hogg's scheme of stealing, repainting, and re-selling motorcycles. The Dukes accidentally rescue her, and then purposefully help her prove her innocence using a serious stash of red form fitting t-shirts, 2-stroke dirt bikes, and a legitimate amount of tomfoolery. And the General Lee does something too. You'll mostly be distracted by the t-shirts in this one.

One last thing. The summer season is coming to a close...and that means that it's even more important than ever to get a t-shirt on your back to enjoy the summer sun while you can! To get a shirt just go to http://www.kfshowshirts.com. We'll be adding in stickers, decals, and other cool stuff in the future too. Want different colors? Let us know!

K&F Show #78{The Lost DukesCast Archive Returns: Our Review of S1 Episode 3 of the Dukes of Hazzard!
39:37

As you've heard by now....we're taking a little break from running traditional ads right now. That means that right now the only support for this show is coming from you! Consider this your no-guilt-yet-kinda-begging request to take a look at contribution to our show on Patreon. We have $1, $2, $5, and $10 monthly options available - or you can just do something of your own choosing too. In addition to our undying love, Patreon supports will receive an exclusive once-per-month Q&A show with us - no holds barred! Our next one comes out next week for the July 2018 show. You can jump in by visiting www.patreon.com/kfshow. Thank you, thank you!

So...remember those first four lost episodes of "DukesCast" of the MuscleCar Place that we did prior to launching the Kibbe and Finnegan show? Nay, you say? Well friend, let me recant. These DukesCast episodes were the ones where we reviewed the first four episodes of the Dukes of Hazzard, found our footing as broadcast partners, and launched K&F to a multiple Charger owning real world scenario. Since that time, presidents have changed, babies have been born, and the USA landed yet again on the moon (don't believe what you haven't heard). This, this is our chance to right the wrongs and replay for you the third installment of DukesCast with a full review of Episode 3 of the Dukes, as we did back on The MuscleCar Place (Episode 280)! In other news...Charger have to be fixed right now, people are traveling, and we couldn't record this week. So this'll have to do. ;)!

One last thing. We're supposed to push the merch even more now that we're not running ads! So, to get a shirt just go to http://www.kfshowshirts.com. We'll be adding in stickers, decals, and other cool stuff in the future too. Want different colors? Let us know!

K&F Show #77{Corndog’s Deep Dive Into Nerdlandia; Uncovering All of the Filming Locations of the Dukes Of Hazzard!
1:06:42

Our non ad run of shows continues unabated...and you guys continue to make it happen through our Patreon campaign! Each day we see more and more people jumping in, and from the bottom of our hearts (and wallets), thank you. If you're not yet onboard, consider this your continued no-guilt-yet-kinda-begging request to take a look at contribution to our show on Patreon. We have $1, $2, $5, and $10 monthly options available - or you can just do something of your own choosing too. In addition to our undying love, Patreon supports will receive an exclusive once-per-month Q&A show with us - no holds barred! Our first one came out in May, and our June show is live now too. If you join in now you can get all the back shows as well.

Finnegan is out filming this week so that means we have another show with our Dukes of Hazzard Nerdlandia Advisor, Dr. Chester J. Corndog, Esquire. In this epic OCD-fest discussion you'll hear him run through all of the filming locations used in the run of the Dukes of Hazzard TV series. Remember, the town of Hazzard for the bulk of the run was on the Warner Bros backlot, but the country scenes, Boars Nest, Duke Farm, and pretty much everything else were filmed out on the worlds snakiest California-based-Georgia roads that Hollywood could offer. As you'll learn the were multiple moves of the show throughout the series which explains why the show had a different look as things went on. Kibbe's favorite i Lake Sherwood, but it wasn't the first. Locations all in all included:

-Covington, GA

-Disney Ranch (also known as Golden Oak)

-Lake Sherwood

-Valencia

-Indian Dunes (for jumps and stunts)

And...here's the push for more merch! Stickers are coming, but for now it's still just our Generally Awesome line of non trademark infringing shirts. Just visit http://www.kfshowshirts.com to get one...or ten! Want different colors? Let us know!

K&F Show #76{The Independence Day Grab-Bag Show; Emails, General Lee Paint Codes, and Skynet is Real
39:30

Happy Independence Day! Consider this the first round of cheap fireworks for your celebration enjoyment. And with that segway established...here's the plug. This episode is powered by you! We're all in on Patreon support and have dropped the regular ads. We have $1, $2, $5, and now $10 monthly options available - or you can just do something of your own choosing too. In addition to our undying love, Patreon supporters will receive an exclusive once-per-month Q&A show with us too! If you sign up now you can go get the back Patreon-only shows too. Thank you, thank you!

For those of you that like the witty banter more than the Dukes or Move reviews, you are in luck: this episode is all banter! Due to filming schedules, political strife, and a lack of flux in our capacitor, we were unable to get the Dukes episode thoroughly prepped for your enjoyment in time for this one (i.e. Finnegan didn't have time to watch it yet). Don't worry - we'll get it on the next one. Also, for all if you who came to see me (Kibbe) at the Des Moines, IA Good Guys Heartland Nationals car show, thank you! Have a Happy 4th!

One last thing. We're supposed to push the merch even more now that we're not running ads! So, to get a shirt just go to http://www.kfshowshirts.com. We'll be adding in stickers, decals, and other cool stuff in the future too. Want different colors? Let us know!

K&F Show #75{Coltrane vs. Duke: S4 Episode 4 of the Dukes of Hazzard
47:18

This episode is powered by you! We're all in on Patreon support and have dropped the regular ads....which is akin to jumping the creek without looking at the near empty fuel gauge on the runup. We have $1, $2, $5, and now $10 monthly options available (I'm looking at you Craig Elliott) - or you can just do something of your own choosing too. In addition to our undying love, Patreon supporters will receive an exclusive once-per-month Q&A show with us too! The June episode comes out next week (June 27). Thank you, thank you!

Dukes Review: Rosco is very very very funny in this episode. That's basically the entire episode because not a lot else is super memorable. It's the age-old tale of a fake breaking-of-every-bone-in-Rosco's-body-to-steal-the-Duke-farm that you've heard time and time again, and it's both predictable and happy too. There's one super awesome stunt that Tom Wopat does running along side the General. Otherwise, bring on the next episode. 6 corndogs.

One last thing. We're supposed to push the merch even more now that we're not running ads! So, to get a shirt just go to http://www.kfshowshirts.com. We'll be adding in stickers, decals, and other cool stuff in the future too. Want different colors? Let us know!

K&F Show #74{Power Tour 2018: We Drove, We Played, We Got Sunburned; Plus Our Review of S1 Episode 2 of the Dukes of Hazzard!
1:03:15

This episode is powered by you - like literally! We've dropped the ads for now and are going all in on Patreon support and merchandise. We have $1, $2, and $5 monthly options available - or you can just do something of your own choosing too. In addition to our undying love, Patreon supports will receive an exclusive once-per-month Q&A show with us - no holds barred! Our first one came out the last week of May 2018. You can jump in by visiting www.patreon.com/kfshow. Thank you, thank you!

Hey hey! We went to the 2018 Hot Rod Power Tour - Atlanta Stop! This episode regales the details of the trip, the cars, the fun, the lack of sleep, the sunburns, the Charger parts swapped a plenty, and chicken fingers eaten atop a (mostly) clean Waste Management trash can. It was a massive effort filled with silly old cars and truly outstanding friends. More of these to come. We even tagged a Dukes review in here - one of the "lost" first four episodes, Season 1, Episode 2 - Daisy's Song. They went to Atlanta in that one...and we were in Atlanta for the Power Tour...and we didn't have time to review a new episode...so problem solved. Enjoy!

One last thing. We're supposed to push the merch even more now that we're not running ads! So, to get a shirt just go to http://www.kfshowshirts.com. We'll be adding in stickers, decals, and other cool stuff in the future too. Want different colors? Let us know!

K&F Show #73{Corndog After Dark; Plus Diamonds in the Rough; Our Review of S4 Episode 3 of the Dukes of Hazzard!
1:03:10

As you'll hear in this show....we're taking a little break from running traditional ads right now. That means that right now the only support for this show is coming from you! Consider this your no-guilt-yet-kinda-begging request to take a look at contribution to our show on Patreon.

Show and Dukes Review: Finnegan is off on Roadkill, thus Corndog is back for another deep diving Corndog session of Hollywood Mopar laced brainwaves. This is followed by our Dukes review, and this episode fits your classic case of a Bugs Bunny doll filled with stolen diamonds that's dropped from an airplane, intended for bad guys, but intercepted by Bo and Luke. See? Classic. This results in the bad guy leader (who's actually a bad girl, not a guy) to fake being a moonshine biographical news reporter to trick Daisy into letting her into the Dukes home. And then Rosco makes a speed limit sign that is remote controlled. And then Waylon says that the bad-guy-leader-bad-girl should be spanked. They don't make 'em like the used to. 8 Corndogs!

K&F Show #72{Like a Phoenix from the Ashes – The Resurrection of “Death Metal: Finnegan’s ’68 Race-Car Charger!
58:37

Hey hey! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the Patreon support! We are sending out the first Q&A email tomorrow for the special Patreon edition of the show. Slowly but surely, between Patreon, ads, and old Chargers we're getting this sucker figured out. Want to get in on it? You can find it at https://www.patreon.com/kfshow!

Well, this is the episode where we never actually got to the Dukes review. Or the movie review. Or the anything review, other than a brief description of the awesome new "Cobra Kai" series on YouTube Red. Why? Because this is the episode where we did the full dig on the resurrection of Finnegan's '68 Charger! If you'll recall, a K&F listener sent me the car on eBay, I sent it to Mike, Mike bought it later that night, my buddy Rodney and I picked it up in Minnesota and then met Mike and his dad with it in Tennessee, and just last week he, Tony Angelo, Daniel Boshears, and a slew of the faithful put Humpty Dumpty back together again to return it to visit it's original builder, Joe Berry. The problem was, it wasn't exactly a bone stock '68 Charger to start with. It was a race car built in 1970 by a farmer, it never turned a lap, and every home brewed trick in the books was used to get it NASCAR legal for an era that still allowed drivers to smoke cigarettes while racing. Listen in to hear Finnegan relive a week of 16 hours days to get the car back on the road - and back to Joe Berry. And if you prefer our standard banter/Hollywood format, not to worry; we'll be back at it next week!

MeUndies is also back to sponsor this episode...and just in comfort ball cuddling time! To get your 20% off of your first order of MeUndies, Free Shipping AND their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and get the best and softest underwear you will ever own, go to http://www.MeUndies.com/kafs. Trust us. Get the ones with the crotch pouch.

Follically challenged friends, today is the day you've been waiting for. While Finnegan's melon is flush with plush, the majority of the rest of us have experienced (or will experience) hair loss as we get older. And as much as we hate admitting that it bothers us, it still does. So...we're happy to announce that Keeps has joined on to sponsor a portion of today's episode, and even happier that they have a 100% online and low cost method to make things get fuzzy again. Stop hair loss today the easy way with Keeps, offering customized treatment plans with only FDA approved hair loss products for about $1 a day, from the comfort of your couch. To receive your first month of treatment for free, go to Keeps.com/KAFS!

And finally, Stamps.com is back in this episode as a show sponsor! For those of who like to sell parts online (especially eBay), this will be right up your alley of time saving awesomeness. With Stamps.com you can access all the services of the Post Office right from your desk. Right now you can use KAFS for this SPECIAL OFFER: a 4 week Trial that includes postage and a digital scale! K&F Show #71{Super Fake Double Duke Boys with a Fake General Lee; Our Review of S4 Episode 2 of the Dukes of Hazzard!
56:56

We are live on Patreon now - and thank you, thank you, thank you for the support so far! It's freaking awesome and we'll use the proceeds to keep the show in full production hands (i.e. pay Bernie), plus buy speed parts for two Chargers. You can jump in by visiting www.patreon.com/kfshow.

Dukes Review: For the love of all that's holy, this may be the most perfect Dukes episode ever. When the premise of your episode is a set of fake Bo and Luke's with a fake General Lee it truly cannot get any better without receiving an R-rating somehow. Here's the gist of it all: Boss Hogg hires two dudes to literally portray Bo and Luke Duke. He has professional masks and wigs made so that these fakers will look just like the real McCoy, all so that they can publicly rob the bank and leave a trail of both shock and awed public eyewitnesses. He even gets his fake fakers a fake General Lee that will magically have to fight the real General Lee to the death. Here's a clue fake General Lee: Real General Lee always wins! Paul Baxley directed this episode and it's loaded with a terrible plot and spectacular stunts, just as God intended. 10 Corndogs all around!

K&F Show #70{Where It all Began: The Lost Review of “One Armed Bandits: S1E1 of the Dukes of Hazzard
45:05

Hey hey! If you'd like to support the show, both witty banter and show review, you can! We're live on Patreon now! Thank you thank you thank you for the support. When we hit our funding goal Bernie gets a new hip! You can jump in by visiting www.patreon.com/kfshow.

At long last, this is the long lost Kibbe and Finnegan Review of the very first episode of The Dukes of Hazzard ever; "One Armed Bandits." Many of you have asked where we reviewed this episode, because the very first K&F Show starts with a review Season 1 Episode 5 of the Dukes. The thing is, when we started Kibbe and Finnegan it wasn't actually Kibbe and Finnegan....it was a segment we did on The MuscleCar Place Podcast called "DukesCast." After 4 Dukes Cast episodes it was clear that we needed a full blown show of our own to take our love of the Dukes (and witty banter) to the next level.

Anyway, ask and ye shall receive! Also, be warned. This is (basically) nothing like a Kibbe and Finnegan show that we do now. Mike's on the phone in this one. There's no Corndog. And this was done over 2 years ago on The MuscleCar Place (Episode 274 - http://www.themusclecarplace.com/tmcp-274-dukescast1), and on the Internet a two year gap is like a century. The Dukes episode itself that we review is pretty different too. Other than the characters having the same names they do now, and the General Lee being orange, everything else is waaaaaaaay different!

K&F Show #69{Yes! It’s The Dukes of Hazzard Star Trek Crossover – S4 Episode 1 of the Dukes of Hazzard
1:00:57

So, yes - we are live on Patreon now - and thank you, thank you, thank you for the support so far! It's freaking awesome and we'll use the proceeds to keep the show in full production hands (i.e. pay Bernie), plus buy speed parts for two Chargers. You can jump in by visiting www.patreon.com/kfshow.

Here's the Dukes Review: In our last show Finnegan got what he had always wanted: A review of Two Lane Blacktop. This time, it's Kibbe's turn for joy filled senselessness; a Star Trek the Next Generation crossover episode with the Dukes! Well, not quite that, but close-ish. This is the first episode of Season 4 of the Dukes of Hazzard and the guest star is none other than Johanthan Frakes, Commander Riker himself. Commander Riker plays the part of a nephew to Boss Hogg, and as a Hogg relative Commander Riker must steal and connive his way through life. It's in his blood. Anyway, he fulfills his Star Fleet destiny by counterfeiting money, putting it into boxes of "grits", and then falling into love with Daisy Duke and getting her to marry him to avoid the eventual damning legal testimony issue he'll have in court when he gets caught. It fails, Daisy is shunned, the General Lee jumps, and Riker gets beamed back up to the Enterprise (not true, but wouldn't have that been super awesome)?

K&F Show #68{The Podcast Finnegan Has Been Waiting For All His Life: Our Full Review of “Two Lane Blacktop”
1:09:24

Before I give the movie review, I'm happy to announce that we are now into our second week of being LIVE on Patreon! Thank you so much to those of you who chose to support the show directly, and we promise to use all funds to continue building the show you want and the one we love to make. We have also figured out what we're going to do for Patreon supporters and you'll hear about in an upcoming episode.  You can go hear to add to the mix: www.patreon.com/kfshow.  Thank you again!!

In this episode of the show we finally reviewed the movie Two Lane Blacktop, a movie that Finnegan's been wanting to hit since we started. Without a doubt this is the last piece of the cinematic puzzle that makes Mike...well, Mike. It's a movie that has clearly influenced him greatly not because it's a fantastic comedy or anything, but because it's about two guys running the country in a homebuilt gasser '55 Chevy. In their lives that's all there is, it's all they need, and all they want. Or is it? Along with way they pick up a random hitchhiker girl who (like the two guys) has no apparent backstory and no dreams going forward. They race an older guy - cross country - in a '70 GTO Judge who is as philosophical as he is total crackpot wacko. There's a ton a dialogue in this movie, yet there's nearly none at the exact same time. This was done in the era of movie making where sometimes the plot and meaning was a secret known only to the writer and director...and Finnegan freaking loves it. In fact he loves it so much that his favorite car ever is a '55 Chevy gasser named Blasphemi. Kibbe has decided that the psyche of Finnegan is made up of a very simple equation, and once you understand it you'll have unlocked the key to Mike's brain, soul, and car:

Two Lane Blacktop + Better Off Dead + The Dukes of Hazzard + Spaceballs = Mike Finnegan

K&F Show #67{We’re Live on Patreon and Our Final Season 3 Dukes Review: Episode 22, The Canterbury Crock
1:01:22

OK, two big things to share in this one. First, we're now LIVE on Patreon and you can find it at https://www.patreon.com/kfshow! We have every desire to continue to do - and build - this show, and as we shared in the show....it hasn't gone quite to plan. But, a number of you have awesomely offered (and even asked) to support the show directly, and Patreon is the best way that we know how to do it. You can choose from the three levels of support you'd like to do and we'll be putting together something cool for those that choose to go this direct route! We're building this airline as we fly it (or as we jump it). Maybe this is the point where things can go to that next level.

Here's the second big thing; we just finished our review of the final episode of Season 3 of the Dukes. This episode is likely both the first and lat time that Julius Caeser will be referenced as a connection to the plot of the story (not a joke). Apparently a vase was commissioned by Cleopatra, it ended up in Hazzard County, and a fancy-pants art collector brings Sgt Tackleberry from the Police Academy movies to come get it. This somehow leads to Daisy giving Cooter flowers for his birthday, Rosco and Boss jumping the General Lee backwards down a cliff, and everything working out great in the end. And a widow gets her mortgage paid in there somewhere too. 10-corndogs all around.

DUKES REVIEW: Do you remember Tuck McElroy, Lead Singer of The Good 'Ol Boys and the driver in the Winnebago from the Blue Brothers? That's the bad guy in this episode. And unfortunately, that fact alone is pretty much the highlight of this one too. Anyway, here's the run down: Boss Hogg is kidnapped for ransom by an escaped convict, 'ol Tuck McElroy himself. The convict had been imprisoned after Boss had testified against him at a trial, and he swore his revenge...which is what this whole episode is about apparently. The convict steals the General Lee, puts Boss in the shotgun seat, buys a log of salami, and then hides in a shack until the Dukes challenge him to a race (weird race - it's the General Lee vs the Dukes, all of whom are riding horeseback). I made almost none of that up. 6 Corndogs.

As you'll here in this episode, the Sponsorship Fastlane course is back! One student took the course last year and put in the hard work...and saw $10K in results back! Course is open until April 17, 2018. www.sponsorshipfastlane.com

K&F Show #66{Corndog’s Charismatic Yet Terrifying Knowledge of the General Lee; Our Review of The Hack of Hazzard – S3 Episode 21 of the Dukes of Hazzard
1:12:39

Follically challenged friends, today is the day you've been waiting for. While Finnegan's melon is flush with plush, the majority of the rest of us have experienced (or will experience) hair loss as we get older. And as much as we hate admitting that it bothers us, it still does. So...we're happy to announce that Keeps has joined on to sponsor a portion of today's episode, and even happier that they have a 100% online and low cost method to make things get fuzzy again. Guess what? ZipRecruiter has joined our show in this episode! If you need to HIRE people the right way, you're in luck. Unlike other hiring sites, ZipRecruiter doesn’t depend on the right candidates finding you; it finds them. Claim your FREE TRIAL and go to http://www.ZipRecruiter.com/KAFS!

Finnegan is out on Roadkill duty this week so once again Corndog took the mantle of responsibility, charging forward with the old claim that the show must go on. Neither rain nor sleet will keep us from our appointed rounds...and I had more geeky General Lee questions to ask him. Also in this episode - an actual Dukes review that we made it to! This one is a good episode centered on the classic story-line you've heard a thousand times: two bad guys put a stolen gold certificate in the back of a tattered rear seat of a taxi-cab that Bo and Luke are driving (to help Miss Tizzdale) that ends up in an upholstery shop where Boss and Rosco dress like ghosts, which ends in the entire story completing in a massive cause of mail fraud and a minor case of shenanigans. And a General lee jump is in there too. So, good. -Kibbe

Still reading? Thank God. Here's another plug for something. Check out KFSHOWShirts.com to get yourself a Kibbe and Finnegan Show t-shirt. MOVIE REVIEW: This is normally where we sum up the gift of the movie or Dukes of Hazzard episode that we had reviewed. This time though, we'll focus on both Finnegan's new Charger as well as the movie because they seemingly go hand in hand. On the one side you have a 1968 Dodge Charger that was configured to run in NASCAR in 1970....but it was never raced due to financial woes of the owner. On the other side you have galactic superheroes Han and Chewie...er, I mean, Lonestar and Barf cruising the galaxy in search for a solution to their financial woes. With the Charger, Finnegan can barley fit in the car without wearing a helmet, much less with one. With Spaceballs, Rick Moranis wore a helmet 24 inches in diameter that he could filter coffee through. And mutually, the both require a knock off version of "The Force" to make magic happen. 10 Corndogs all around!

This is a super great episode but what's most remarkable about it (besides the near moonshot jump of the General lee) may just be that Finnegan's hour long summary of it. It's completely awesome. Anyway, here's the gist of the show: several years ago some hijackers lost some money in Hazzard because they stashed it in a place that later flooded. While Bo and Luke were hooning the General Lee in a river they stumbled upon $1000 big ones. Word spread and it was quickly determined by dirtbike-riding-Baja-bug-driving money chasers across the country that the cash was nearby. The hijackers came back to reclaim it and it turns out that the dude in the Marines that save Luke's life in Vietnam was one of them. He tells Luke that his hot wife is really his hot sister, gets her to flirt with Luke, cars fly, and wrongs are righted. Daisy fights a chick in this episode, so that's good too. 9 Corndogs.

Still reading? If you're you're the read deal with orange Charger blood in your veins. Or you're super bored. 6 Corndogs.

This K&F show features a plethora of both witty and banter, as well as both kinds of country music: country and western. Why, you ask? Because we reviewed the Blue Brothers instead of the Dukes this week. Luckily for us all, it still resulted in slap stick humor and flying Mopars with cop shocks, cop tires, and a 440 mill built before catalytic converters. Everything you need is in this movie: amazing blues music, zany 110 mph car chases, and sentences that always end in a one liner: 3 orange whips! Carrie Fischer is in this one too - and Jabba the Hut's outfit had nothing on how she looks in this movie.

Finnegan had the flu for this episode and could not leave the toilet long enough to record a show. He gave it the 'ol college try though. And then he returned to the 'ol toilet. As such, we brought in Corndog to pinch hit and discuss the restoration of his screen used (and jumped) General Lee as well as review this week's Dukes of Hazzard episode. He's literally restoring what's left of his car (basically the cab of the car) back to full Charger status, to it's TV configuration, and he's doing it with original parts that he collected from a dumpster. Several dumpsters. A plethora of dumpsters, you might say. (None of that was a joke). Listen and learn. Also, we never made it to that Dukes review though because (basically) Corndog's OCD love of all things screen used General Lee took over. I couldn't stop it, nor did I try. That would be like asking a flower not to bloom or a bird not to sing, right? -Kibbe

K&F Show #60{The Return of Hughie Hogg – S3 Episode 18 of the Dukes of Hazzard
55:29

It finally happened. Somehow, some way, today is the first day in K&F Show history that we've had two actual real advertisers in the same show. It's epic. And it involves underwear and books too (and maybe even books about underwear).

To get your 20% off of your first order of MeUndies, Free Shipping AND their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and get the best and softest underwear you will ever own, go to http://www.MeUndies.com/KAFS. Trust us. Get the ones with the crotch pouch.

To get started with a FREE audiobook and 30 day trial just go to http://www.audible.com/KAFS or text "KAFS" to 500-500. We recommend your first book be Ready Player One. It's awesome.

DUKES REVIEW: For this show, it's all about a new story for an old bad guy. Do you remember who Hughie Hogg is? Hughie is Boss Hogg's nephew who is effectively a younger, greedier version of Boss. Boss brings him into town from time to time to get his help framing the Dukes, pull heists, and groom him for future evil deeds. Now you're up to speed. This episode mostly revolves around Hughie tricking Boss into giving him all of his possessions in order to avoid an IRS audit. As soon as Hughie has everything he wanted he renames the town after himself and establishes a world that kind of resembles that one time in Back to the Future II when Biff was powerful in the alternate 1985. Maybe that's a stretch here, but this is a tough episode to write a witty summary of. Anyway, the IRS audit was just a ruse set up by Hughie in the first place, hijinks ensue, and then the Dukes have to help Boss get out of the mess by working together with he and Rosco. Happy Gilmore's Grandma has a role in here too. (Really).

As mentioned in this episode, Kibbe's new baseball tee is coming to Kickstarter on Feb 27 2018! It took years to get here, but it's finally here. Check out the details and signup for earlybird Kickstarter pricing at http://www.magictee.io

DUKES REVIEW: This Dukes episode is the classic tale that's as old as time itself; predatory lending, tractor thieving, and media manipulation done by powerful people with their own agenda. Other than the tractor part this could basically be the news in every city every day - so real world lessons here! Anyway, Boss has tractors stolen from people he lent money to to buy them, primarily because the original loans were at a low interest rate. Stick with me here. His evil, devious, yet genius plan was to get people the come to him for new loans on new tractors - which would now happen at the new higher interest rates - and allow him to resell them back their SAME tractors. Even more evil brilliant was the fact that he tricked Daisy Duke into falsely reporting to the media that Bo and Luke were behind it, complete with photo evidence. Never trust what you read in the news, kids. The General goes swimming in this one, so that's cool. Don't remember many jumps though. 8 Corndogs.

MOVIE REVIEW: What can we say that you don't know already about the movie Groundhog Day? As it turns out...plenty, but mostly because it amused us to do so. This is the epic fable of the blessing - or curse - of repeating a day over and over and over again. Bill Murray stars as the Phil the weatherman from Philly, sent to cover Phil the Groundhog from Punxsutawney give his annual weather prognostication. Only for Phil the weatherman, Phil the Groundhog causes him to re-live his day in Punxsutawney over, and over, and over again. He tries to eat, drink, and kill himself every day...but it fails. Only when he starts doing acts of service and kindness do things improve. Then he finds love and gets out of the cycle, conveniently about when the movie is ready to end. It's fantastic. There's a Chevy C-20 that bites it at one point too. And an Eldorado drives on train tracks. 10-out-of-10 Corndogs.

His role as Jeb Stuart Duke was going to be for a 7-year run..and he shared all the details of the story. Bazing!

Dukes Review: Have you ever seen Animal House? Remember Babs? She's the bad guy in this episode! Unfortunately that's about the end of the episode highlights. Anyway, Babs and her bad-guy husband come to Hazzard with some stolen jewels. Somehow the jewels end up in Rosco's patrol car, Boss thinks he's in on it, then fires him for not giving him a cut of the take. Shortly thereafter the Dukes get accused of doing the jewel stealing. This of course forces them to team up with Rosco, then get Babs and Mr. Babs to confess their nefarious deeds by terrifying them in a while ride with the General. Boss forgives everyone and the clock resets for the next episode. Feel free to look up Babs on Google or IMDB. You'll get lost in that one, trust me.

K&F Show #55{Holy Crap, We Got a General Lee! Plus A Full Review of “My Son, Bo Hogg” – S3 Episode 14 of the Dukes of Hazzard

Bombfell is the genius company that lets you buy great fashion, all online, all with the help of a sylist. DUKES REVIEW: At some point in the run of every TV show, someone gets temporary amnesia and subsequently brainwashed. This is apparently that episode and (shocker) the guy behind the nefarious scheme is Boss Hogg himself. In the real world brainwashing someone gets you sent to the same prison as rapists and murders, but in the Dukes of just provides 46 minutes of pure entertainment. Anyway, Bo hits his head on a log and forgets who he is. The Doctor treating him mistakes Boss as his father, Boss needs someone to run moonshine in the terrifying territory of Sheriff Little, and the shenanigans unfold as you might guess from there. Daisy climbs through the window of the General in a pleasing fashion, the General jumps, and hijinks ensue.

Visit KFSHOWSHIRTS.COM Dukes summary: In the universe there are several truths, but near the top is this one: this is one of the GREATEST episodes of the Dukes of Hazzard, EVER! In this action packed, car flying, testosterone filled episode we find Bo and Luke pitted in a race against each other for the first time ever. Why? Cooter did something dumb and built a race car on credit (i.e. he was highly leveraged) with hopes to flip it for a profit. Then something bad happened, Uncle Jesse made Luke drive it instead against Bo and the General Lee, and hilarity ensues from there. Somehow Boss gets involved to profit from it, Rosco learns about the awesome of nitrous oxide, and the General saves the day by racing backwards. It's perfect. 10 out of 10 corndogs!

K&F Show #52{We Failed at Buying a ’69 Charger in Only 30 Minutes, Dukes of Hazzard Review: The Legacy – S3 Episode 12
1:17:36
Guess what? We have new Christmas duds, featuring Santa Claus behind the wheel of the fastest sleigh ever made (Generally Speaking, of course). Available in red, white, and black, these Christmas tees should fit in well at any race track as well as an ugly Christmas sweater party. We have hoodies too.  Seriously. If you would like to support the show in a really tangible way (i.e. to buy something), please consider purchasing one. We chose the best American Apparel super-cuddly shirt as the base, and the design is a one-off by our own pal Kirk. Visit KFSHOWSHIRTS.COM! Dukes Episode: Where to start. This episode is all about having a love life over the age of 60. An old flame of Jesse's (and Boss's) comes back to town to find the treasure left to her by her now-deceased husband. The catch? It's moonshine - a lot of it - and Bo and Luke have to help her collect it and sell it to Boss without getting caught, else they'll spend the rest of their lives in prison eating nuclear waste. In the grand scheme of things, not loving this episode is a truly first world problem. It's great. It's funny. It's predictable. The General jumps once. Uncle Jesse meets his long lost love, reunites with her and finds true love again, only to have her leave at the end of the show and she'll never be mentioned again. The best part is that a police car gets literally cut in half, down the middle, like a peanut butter-and-jelly sandwich.

Planes Trains and Automobiles Review: This is the world most perfectly made buddy movie centered on the topic of Thanksgiving, ever. It stars Steve Martin and John Candy and was written, produced, and directed by the 1980's move genius, John Hughes. Neil Page (Steve Martin) and Del Griffith (John Candy) are two travel companions unwontedly stuck together when their flight from NYC to Chicago is diverted to Wichita, KS. What happens over the next two days will go down in movie lore as the strangest scene involving butt cheeks, 18 f-bombs in a row at a car rental counter, and a 1986 Dodge 600 convertible that catches fire. It's comedic genius. Happy Thanksgiving!

Boss Hogg gets pressured by the supreme dictator from a neighboring county who (like Boss Hogg) is also in complete control of every nefarious business action that happens there. Basically, it's like the mob. Only they respect the county lines of Georgia for some reason. Anyway, the Bad Guy Boss tries to kill the Good Guy Buss by having his handsome hitman Earl come to Hazzard to blow stuff up until the Good Guy Boss relents. Daisy falls in love with Earl on first site and later flips a car to put him in jail. Then the Oak Ridge Boys play a song. The End.

We know, you saw it coming. Everyone saw it coming. Anyway, the Dukes get blamed for the bad stuff, help save the day for Rosco anyway, and the day resets for the next episode like Groundhog's Day. This is the show of shows, and it could only happen in the 80's. Boss Hogg meets his long lost identical twin brother, Abraham Lincoln Hogg. It's not a welcome meeting though, as Abe is the generous and good ying to Boss's greedy and devious yang. Need more chicanery? Abe wears a black suit and drives a black Caddy convertible. That comes in later. As you have likely already guessed, Boss had a scheme cooked up to steal Abe's inheritance that now requires of him to impersonate his brother by changing into and out of his clothes multiple times in a broom closet. The General does an epic jump over a car carrier and Daisy runs in slow motion while wearing a particularly stringy tank top. And Bo's not in this one at all for some reason. Hijinks ensue. Dukes Review: Remember Huey Hogg, Boss Hogg's nephew that filled in for Rosco in Season 2 while he was "at the police academy" (i.e. when James Best was in a contract dispute)? Good memory. He's back now, only he's dressed exactly like Boss Hogg and he drives a white VW Bug convertible with steer horns on it. I know. It was the 80's. They don't do great hamball stuff like that anymore. Anyway, Boss brings in Huey to frame the Dukes once and for all, because Rosco has always failed at doing so. Huey tries, Huey fails, the cycle repeats, and Daisy has to get a prison photo taken. And the VW ends up hanging from a giant magnet with Boss Hogg in it. Also - for no explained reason - this episode was shot in Season 2 but only aired now (Enos is back, as is Daisy's Plymouth Road Runner). Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #44{Our Amazing Review The Fast and The Furious…Also Known as “Point Break with Cars”
53:18
We're taking a "movie break" from the Dukes of Hazzard this episode and decided to focus our efforts on reviewing the very first movie of the "Fast" franchise, "The Fast and the Furious." Finnegan freaking loves this movie. Why? Because it is essentially an automotive version of another great movie, Point Break, and just replaces the surf boards with cars. Everything else literally lines up though. Here's the proof: Cop infiltrates the suspects lair by going undercover and winning his trust and friendship. (Check.) Cop ends up in falling in love with and bedding the bad guy's sister. (Check). Cop starts to see that the bad guy, while he does bad things, has his reasons. (Check.) Cop decides to let the bad guy have one last spiritual escape of surfing...er, drag racing, and then lets him go with apparently no consequences to his future law enforcement career. (Check.) Japanese front wheel drive hot rods litter this movie, and a '70 Dodge Charger with a totally fake blower becomes the mascot of a film franchise that will go on to rake in billions. They even have launched a live stunt show in the UK.

K&F Show #43{The Late JD Hogg – S3 Episode 5 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
57:10
Due to a hilarious medical error, Boss Hogg thinks he's dying. He immediately realizes he's done a ton of greedy evil things in his life, and tries to buy his way into heaven by doing "good deeds" while he can in order to avoid going to Hell. He obviously can't do that, but it makes for good TV fun. He gives the Dukes their farm, the orphans their orphanage, and the Little League their own...league? Doesn't matter. The shenanigans really get rolling when he finds out it was all a mistake. And there are bad guys in this one too that should be central to the story, but they really aren't. The highlight is the cameo by Mr. Belding from "Saved By the Bell". Solid Hijinks ensue. Holy smokes - it's raining awesomeness! Today's show is brought to you by our sponsor Hello Fresh! K&F Show #41{The Hazzardville Horror – S3 Episode 3 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:04:38
For those of you that love the "witty banter" portion of this episode, be prepared for everything you've ever wanted to know in regards to watching the great Solar Eclipse of 2017, how to correctly launch a drag boat to music, and what count of the clock to look for to step on to the football field if you're leading a drumline. Also - the triumphant return of the game "Guess Who's Birthday! At some point in every great TV show series run they do the holiday episode series. This time around it's Halloween and it's all centered around the Haunted House in Hazzard. The house is occupied by a set of small time thieves running a smelting operation in the basement to melt down their stolen silver.  Everything is going great until a pretty girl returns to Hazzard to claim the house from her long lost Uncle. With me so far? Bo & Luke get blamed, the house scares people, and somehow it leads to the General Lee jumping a lake and ending up on a postcard received by hundreds of thousands of kids in the early 1980's. Boom. Best summary ever! Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #42{In This Corner, Luke Duke – S3 Episode 4 of The Dukes of Hazzard!….and Meet our First Advertiser Ever, Bombfell!
1:09:45
Guess what? We have a brand new advertiser in this show! Glory be! Better yet, they're LITERALLY going to help us all look good by dressing in awesome clothes at a great price! Visit BOMBFELL.COM/KAFS to get started browsing with our $25 discount! Dukes Review: This show has a perfect plot. It starts out with an awesome General Lee jump, and ends with the most epic one ever...with the General going through the ROOF of a second story barn, trapping the bad guys, hurting nary a soul, and bringing the Dukes Boys back to safety. Everything that happens in between is mostly filler. So, here's the filler: Luke gets blackmailed into boxing a legit fighter in order to pay off a debt to Boss that (if unpaid) will cost the Dukes the farm. Again. Luke doesn't want to do it, because his was so awesome at boxing in the Marines that he nearly killed someone with his awesomeness. Uncle Jesse tells him to get himself together and either to quit or fight. Luke wins, his alter ego somehow ends up dates the ring girl of the fight, humanity is saved, and the General jumps. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #40{Our Review of Keanu Reeves in “The Replacements”…..and We Have Sweet New Shirts!
53:11
We took a quick break from the Dukes to do a movie review, this time choosing "The Replacements" - the awesome 2000 movie starring Gene Hackman, Keanu Reeves, Jon Favreau, and a number of other greats - including Roy from "The Office" (I forget his name - the guy that was Pam's boyfriend before Jim Halpert). This movie is the story we all want; a chance to live up to the potential of something that we loved from our youth and maybe came close to achieving, but for whatever reason failed at, or it fizzled out, or it just ended for reasons we couldn't control. Keanu is honestly pretty good as a south-paw quarterback and it's a great movie full of inspirational one-liners you'll love to quote. Here's one for you: "Pain heals, Chicks Dig Scars, and Glory Lasts Forever." K&F Show Rating: 8 Corndogs

K&F Show #39{Kibbe Drove a Real General Lee! Also, A Review of Enos Strate to the Top – S3 Episode 2 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:02:29
I'll be honest. After driving a real General Lee it was tough to come down to reality to review a Dukes episode again, but we did it. With that established....this is the first time that a spinoff pilot TV show for the Dukes actually went forward. In this episode the stage is set for Enos Strate, Hazzard's only honest lawman, to depart on his own adventures. Boss fires him, some bad guys kidnap Daisy while she wears an alarmingly awesome tank top, Enos catches them, and then is hired by the LAPD to join them on his own TV series (something like that). He'll be back though when that series flops. The General jumps onto the bad guys car. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #38{Carnival of Thrills Part 2 – S3 Episode 1 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:16:18
This is Part 2 of Carnival of Thrills and it picks up exactly where the last one left off; with Bo punching Luke, taking the General Lee, splitting up the family, and ripping apart the fabric of all that we know to be true and right in the world. Why? Because of the mis-guided love of a she-devil named Diane, that's why. Luke, Jesse, and Daisy won't quit though and prove to Bo that his fool hearted desire to jump 32 cars to impress a wack-o temptress would actually result in his murder and the chick leaving him anyway. So, in the grand scheme of things it's a total lose-lose. Then Bo and Luke reconcile and and do the jump together anyway. Because #integrity. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #37{Carnival of Thrills Part 1 – S3 Episode 1 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:18:26
This is Part 1 of Carnival of Thrills, the biggest, scariest, most Bo vs. Luke fighting-est Dukes episode ever! Seriously, this episode is the one where an evil she-devil stunt show owner named Diane pits Bo vs. Luke, and Bo chooses her and jumping the General Lee over 32 cars over the family. The problem is...the she-devil is being outfoxed by the the first guy she snuggled up to to do the jump and he'll make sure that Bo and the General both fail in a miserable ball of 4th of July fireworks (i.e. he'll kill them). The episode ends with Luke calling Bo out, and the first haymaker is thrown. Oh, and the General is nearly killed. And Boss is up to something terrible. That too. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #36{Our Review of Hal Needham’s Epic Fable: “Megaforce”
1:07:02
So...we're in between Dukes of Hazzard seasons and decided to throw in another movie review to take a brief Dukes of Hazzard break. Finnegan suggested (more like insisted) that it be Megafoce, the 1982 epic movie that Hal Needham directed and starred in. Here's the good news: the movie has lots of crazy vehicles, a few funny lines, and stars Edward Mulhare who would go on to play "Devon Miles" from Knight Rider. Here's the bad news: there's really no other good news of note. The movie ends with a flying motorcycle on a green screen, and Barry Bostick wears a spandex (or lycra?) suit with no regards for underwear. Finnegan gives it 8 lazer-guided corndogs. Kibbe gives is a generous 3. Hijinks Ensue.

K&F Show #35{Southern Comfurts – S2 Episode 23 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:17:49
The "Southern Comfurts" episode is the final one of Season 2....and while it's full of crazy cornball crap, it's as weird an episode as it gets, and for some reason the General Lee gets painted green to go "incognito". Not camo green though. Just a normal, run of the mill, Crayola crayon color of green. Weird. Anyway, the Dukes also help a Southern family with the last name of "Comfurt" who come into a lot of money, only to lose the money in a pirates trunk in the back of a renal car. Boss Hogg tries to get the money, is kidnapped by some out of town bank robbers, and the Dukes save the day in a green General Lee. Did I mention that they paint it on the side of the road somehow? Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #34{R.I.P. Henry Flatt – S2 Episode 22 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:03:36
There's an old saying that says, "A friend will help you move, and a real friend will help you move a dead body." In the case of this episode, that proves true. The Dukes aid an old (yet now reformed) swindler friend named Henry Flatt to "stay dead." He had previously faked his own death to hide from Boss Hogg as he'd swindled him out of a ton of money that was later used to start a Youth Shelter. Remember Otis the Drunk from the Andy Griffith Show? That Henry Flatt. The highlight of this episode is seeing the General drive with a coffin in it's trunk (containing a dead body, no less). Oh, and Rosco is back from the "Police Academy" now too. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #33{Mason Dixon’s Girls – S2 Episode 21 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:08:34
Bo and Luke accidentally receive (and get caught with) the most heinous and immoral drug known to man in February of 1980: marijuana! An RV-living, motorbike riding, Trans Am convertible racing super stud detective named "Mason Dixon" is called in to chase them down and break up their drug ring...and he brings his two amazingly hot "associates" along who are the brains and the muscle of the operation. They all team up to catch the REAL bad guys in pure ham-bone car crashing fashion. This episode is one that you'll want to watch, over and over, and over again, because it was meant to the the intro for a spinoff TV series that never came to be. Hang-gliders glide, cars slide and slide, and ladies butts are patted for a job well done (it was 1980 - still legal then, I guess). Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #32{Return of the Ridge Raiders – S2 Episode 20 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:02:02
Guess what? We finally have shirts available! Glory be! Check out https://teechip.com/stores/kfshow to order. Store closes June 19. Do you know who Hugh Hefner is? Great. Imagine that Boss Hogg wants to compete with Hugh Hefner with his own line of "Pretty Piggy" waitresses at the Boars Nest, a business model which has a fairly obvious path akin to Hooters, Tilted Kilt, etc. To fund his empire he must reallocate the tax payer subsidized grant that has been allocated to the Hazzard County Senior Citizens Center, which Uncle Jesse is vehemently in the process of saving, despite the fact that he'll never ever go there at any point in the future of this TV series. Anyways, his old moonshine gang called the "Ridge Raiders" are fighting Boss illegally, he tries to stop them, Bo and Luke get blamed, and yada yada yada. Solid episode, the General jumps (thank God), and hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #30{Jude Emery – S2 Episode 19 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:15:26
If there were ever a perfect episode of the Dukes, it's this one. Texas Ranger "Jude Emery" comes to Hazzard to track the leader of an illegal race car driving gang and (shockingly) recruits Bo and Luke to help him both find and apprehend the afore mentioned bad guy. Jude is super cool, travels with a suitcase that doubles as a guitar, and woos Daisy with his George Strait like charm. In return she wears hot pants and ends up saving he, Bo, Luke, and the rest of humanity in the process. Hijinks ensue. (FYI - Daisy is not wearing the uber-tight outfit in this episode that she used in Cannonball Run II. We checked.)

K&F Show #29{Find Loretta Lynn – S2 Episode 18 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

We need your help! We need some general info to give to potential advertisers. We know - it's a pain...but it would seriously help us out. Click here to fill it out (please only do it once): http://survey.libsyn.com/tmcpnetwork Imagine this: Boss Hogg discovers that Loretta Lynn, the "First lady of country music," will be passing through the state of Georgia en route to...somewhere that probably doesn't matter. He uses the opportunity to force her to come to Hazzard where he can profit from her presence by selling wigs that make people look like her. It's a stretch, I know. Coincidentally, a trio of folk singers that were wronged by a Nashville recording company choose to kidnap Loretta, hold her for ransom, and then collect their lost music money back from the Nashville dream-stealers. At some point the Dukes get blamed and in righting the wrongs end up flipping the General on it's lid for some reason. Not to worry, the General is fine in the next scene. Hijinks ensue.

1:03:10
Big News! From now until May 5, 2017 we are running a giveaway contest for a TRAXXAS Slash! Entry is free and easy. Visit http://www.kfshowgiveaway.com for details. This is classic "Hatfield-goes-to-work-for-the McCoy's" tale. Daisy gets fired from the Boars Nest when asking for a raise. Luckily for her, at that exact time the state of Georgia just put in place an equal rights memorandum that puts Boss in need of hiring a female police officer. You can see where this is going. Boss tries to frustrate her by having her do lowly "women's work", she then solves the big crime anyway and catches the bad guys, and it turns out she is a better cop than Rosco and Enos combined. Then she goes back to selling beer because the tip money of people looking at her legs is stellar. Not enough General Lee in here for our tastes, but it's good anyway. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #27{Treasure of Hazzard – S2 Episode 16 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:07:02
Big News! From now until May 5, 2017 we are running a giveaway contest for a TRAXXAS Slash! Entry is free and easy. Visit http://www.kfshowgiveaway.com for details. A smart and super attractive "smart college professor" lady comes to Hazzard looking for a long lost buried treasure from a Union Army Civil War payroll to learn it's historical value. Unfortunately for her, thugs are waiting to catch her find the treasure...because they're greedy and just want the money in the box. Luckily, the Dukes intervene because they're the only ones who can decode the 120-year old map markers of the area as their ancestors settled Hazzard. This jumps immediately to Bo wrestling an alligator underwater, losing his shirt, then followed by a set of highly sheltered (yet fairly underdressed) twin girls trapping him to keep as a prize in their hidden swamp bugaboo. Basically, all you need to know is that the General Lee chase scenes were replaced with mild sexual innuendos, and Rosco is gone again and replaced by another dude. Good episode and it all works out in the end. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #26{Follow That Still – S2 Episode 15 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:08:30
Big News! From now until May 5, 2017 we are running a giveaway contest for a TRAXXAS Slash! Entry is free and easy. Visit http://www.kfshowgiveaway.com for details. The Dukes help an habitually-making-moonshine-but-constantly-getting-caught friend of Uncle Jesse's by the name of "Hard Luck" after he steals Boss Hogg's new tank. Technically I guess it's an "APC" and not a tank, but who cares. It shoots stuff and drives on tracks. Anyway, Boss bought the tank to hide stolen cigarettes in as a place to resell them from. Hard Luck steals the tank to make his moonshine inside of it, thereby giving him a portable manufacturing facility that will be hard to catch by the Feds. As you may have guessed, he didn't know about the contraband cigs, the tank breaks down on the Dukes land, and the world will come to an untimely end unless they get rid of the evidence. There's not enough General Lee action in this one for our taste, but it's still good fun. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #25{The Runaway – S2 Episode 14 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:00:04
Big News! From now until May 5, 2017 we are running a giveaway contest for a TRAXXAS Slash! Entry is free and easy. Visit http://www.kfshowgiveaway.com for details. The Dukes pick up a hitch-hiking and (#shocker#) attractive girl who is on the run from her super wealthy but evil rich-guy father. Why? Because he is forbidding her to marry a lowly farmer, because farmers are poor, and poor people are stupid. As you may have guessed, the only way to morally right this wrong is to get the girl dressed up in Daisy's less-than-covering wardrobe, then do car chases all around Hazzard until something blows up. In the end, Daisy's Road Runner bites the bullet and Alan Alda's dad sees the light about humanity and gives Daisy a Jeep. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #24{Duke of Duke – S2 Episode 13 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
57:18
So, the primary phrase to remember before we go further regarding in this episode is that "it's not incest." OK? OK. So, a non-blood related 3rd cousin of the Dukes named Gaylord Duke comes to Hazzard to claim his inheritance on a chunk of land left to him by an old uncle. He's an actual Duke too, making him Duke Gaylord Duke...which for some reason makes Daisy hear wedding bells and melt like Molly Ringwald over Jake in 16 Candles whenever she sees him. Again, not incest. Long story short, Boss wants the land himself to sell for a huge profit, the Dukes help Gaylord until they learn he's actually a con-man, and the General gets dusted by a Jaguar...then later schools the Jag to put the universe back into balance. Again, not incest. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #23{Arrest Jesse Duke – S2 Episode 12 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:04:26
A team of super-attractive car strippers set up shop in Hazzard to steal parts off of cars and then sell them back to the unknowing owners. They drive old Army Jeeps to cover their tracks, which are cutely color coordinated. They also (for some reason) help each other to take cold showers in the woods. Boss Hogg ends up being the ring leader of the operation and finds a magical way to blame it on the Dukes, but has a change of heart when the ladies rip him off. The only recourse is to convert the General Lee into an off-roader to chase the hotty-lady-Jeep-driving-car-part-bandits. Rosco gets replaced by Boss's nephew Hughie Hogg who arrives in a white VW Bug convertible with steer horns on the front. The ring leader of the Lady Bandits has the hots for Bo. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #22{People’s Choice – S2 Episode 11 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:04:40
RED ALERT: We need your help to get the attention of Coca Cola...our dream sponsor! Dukes Review: A long lost formerly gawky but now super-hot friend of the Dukes returns to Hazzard to run against Boss Hogg as the "Supervisory Administrator" of Hazzard. Why? Because her father was cheated out of the job in the past by Boss Hogg. Really though, who cares because we just need an excuse to get the General Lee into the air. Anyway, in this landmark episode Boss Hogg realizes that the job of Supervisory Administrator includes being the Dukes probation officer, something he didn't even realize he was (nor did they). The Dukes commit an FCC violation helping the gawky-but-now-hotty chick run her campaign. She wins and will never be mentioned again throughout the remainder of the TV series. Luckily for her she'll go on in life to star on the Love Boat. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #21{Granny Annie – S2 Episode 10 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:06:34
The Dukes accidentally receive counterfeit $5 bills from local amazing artist "Granny Annie" who was producing them for herself to avoid the need to get her monthly welfare check. Boss Hogg somehow gets involved and sells the engraving plates to make the fakeroo $5's to a reall really bad guy. The problem? Boss didn't actually have the plates, because the Dukes stole them back after Rosco stole them from them in order to protect Granny Annie who promised she'd never do it again (it's complicated - it took me forever just to figure out how to write that). When the bad guy decides to kill Boss though, Rosco asks the Dukes to come to his rescue...and they do! This is the episode that proves the bad guys aren't really the bad guys and helping your neighbor is the best way to live. The General jumps a moving train. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #20{Witness for the Persecution – S2 Episode 9 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:04:33
The Dukes do a favor for the Federal Government by housing and protecting Boss Hogg....from the Mob? Yes indeed. Boss has information to testify against somebody for some reason, that person is really really bad, and the Dukes spend the entire episode pampering him and protecting him from two very serious hitmen that attempt to kill everyone and their mother with sniper rifles. Somehow Boss also ends up in bed with Daisy, after a long scene of her spent undressing (seriously - it's at the 21:20 mark of the show). Cooter drinks moonshine and eats donuts for breakfast. The General makes a famous jump. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #19{Hazzard Connection – S2 Episode 8 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
54:38
Since they're lousy at making money farming, Bo and Luke take a side job delivering crash-up-derby cars to a local race promoter. The catch? He's cooked, and somehow the Dukes will be mistakenly blamed for whatever bad is about to happen. I know. It's mind blowing. Anyway, they figure out he's smuggling stolen racing engines out in old smashed up cars so they continue working with him until they can catch up with the goods. Bo has to demo derby the General against a "slammer" car. The bad guy wears an ascot like Fred on Scooby Doo. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #18{Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough – S2 Episode 7 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
1:01:55
Bo and Luke completely and accidentally run into NASCAR superstar Cale Yarborough while he is testing a turbocharger for an upcoming NASCAR race. To suspend reality further, Cale's test car is a white 1969 Dodge Charger wearing the 10-spoke Turbine style wheels that the General wears (which looks suspiciously like the car from the show we covered in Episode 17). Even zanier, is that upon meeting the Dukes he gives them the chance to test drive the car, fix his mechanical mistakes with it, and then fend off his mysterious NASCAR enemies The Jethro Brothers from stealing the unusable-in-NASCAR-but-they-want-it-anyway turbocharger for their own race car. To cap things off, the Dukes escape from Boss, Rosco, Enos, and the bad guys simultaneously by using the confusion tactics of having two other Chargers painted up like the General, thereby giving all bad guys a different one to chase. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #17{The Ghost of General Lee – S2 Episode 6 of The Dukes of Hazzard….and RIP Carrie Fischer!
52:53
Bo and Luke - for some reason - decide to get naked and go swimming in a pond together, leaving their clothing and keys in the General Lee. Shockingly enough, bad guys steal it. Rosco and Enos chase them (thinking they are the Dukes) but the General ends up jumping into a lake, and Rosco and Enos are convinced (and mortified) that they are dead. The entire town weeps (and it's a serious tear jerker - this episode may have the best acting ever done in the history of The Dukes of Hazzard). Boss decides to cash in on their death and claim they stole things from him. The boys (not being dead) retaliate by ,making Rosco think that both they - and the General Lee - have come back from the dead to haunt him. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #16{Road Pirates – S2 Episode 5 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
51:59
Hazzard County is plagued by a rash of semi-truck hijackings. To do their civic duty the Dukes modify Cletus' patrol car with a shot of nitrous oxide in order to give him a speed advantage on the crooks. At some point Boss Hogg gets involved to profit from the thefts, only to be (shockingly) double crossed by the crooks. Even zanier is that he believes that Cletus - working with the Dukes - were the ones to steal from him. Cletus is called stupid by everyone (even Waylon Jennings). Daisy poses on top of - and underneath - her car for passing by truck drivers. The General Lee jumps. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #15{The Great Santa Claus Chase – S3 Episode 9 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
55:24
So, you may have noticed that we're reviewing this episode out of order. We had to. It's Christmas time and through the entire 7-season run of the Dukes of Hazzard they only made one Christmas show. If it helps, we also covered Die Hard (a great Christmas movie) in this podcast too. In this episode: the Dukes save Christmas by stealing a truckload of Christmas trees back from Boss Hogg (that he initially stole from them) and deliver them to the good people of Hazzard, all on Christmas Eve. To keep Boss and the real bad guys confused, Bo, Luke, and Cooter all dress as Santa Claus and deliver trees using identical Ford long bed trucks all going in different directions with as much zaniness as possible. To add to the mix, the 3 crooks are also dressed as St. Nick making for a total of 6 wacky Santas. After the crooks are foiled Boss and Rosco spend Christmas Eve sharing gifts and singing carols with the Dukes. The General jumps a loaded car carrier. Santa Claus is heard doing a low fly-by over the farm. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #14{The Meeting – S2 Episode 4 of The Dukes of Hazzard!
57:10
The mob shows up. The freaking mob. Why? Because they need a place for all of the crime bosses to meet - and they know through previous moonshine dealings that Boss Hogg will give them cover to do so. They claim to be working on their new project - a toy company product - but are really there to take back from their sons their old businesses of gun running, gambling, prostitution, and all sort of tomfoolery. The Dukes find the guns, decide to intervene to save the general public, and defeat the mob without a hitch by trapping them in a net that (somehow) thwarts off bullets. The mobsters all wear pinstripe suits. The General Lee jumps (twice). Daisy fakes skinny dipping. Hijinks ensue.

44:17
The Dukes help some super poor neighbors get their super-secret and uber fast horse entered into a race. If they win the race the massive amount of proceeds will solve all of their worldly problems (crushing mortgage stress, morning breath, etc.). The catch? The race has been commissioned by Boss Hogg who will for numerous reasons attempt to screw everyone out of happiness so that he may pad his own pockets. Even zanier is when out-ot-town horse thieves get into the mix too. The General races a horse (General wins). Boss mocks his wife's weight. Hijinks ensue.
