Tim Kawakami celebrates the first birthday of The Athletic Bay Area by hopping on the phone to chat with two key components that have made this venture a success thus far. First up is TK's partner in crime and The Athletic Bay Area senior columnist, Marcus Thompson II. The two reflect on the very early days on TABA and remember how TK almost lost his mind helping launch the site. 

Tim is then joined by co-founder of The Athletic, Adam Hansmann, who discusses The Athletic's growth across the board and what's next for the company.
