Episode Date
Episode 13 - Danny Grimes, ModernJeeper and every Off-Roader's Favorite Grandpa
4824

Hello Modern Jeepers welcome to Episode Number 13 of The ModernJeeper Show… the show about Jeeps, Jeeping and Jeepers.

This week Mr. ModernJeeper, Corey Osborne, and Metalcloak's Matson Breakey are together in Moab, Utah for the 53rd Annual Easter Jeep Safari.

We have the privilege of doing the show in the famous and iconic Grandpa’s Garage where we interview Grandpa himself, Danny Grimes. Grandpa shares with us why he moved to Moab and how much it has changed over the years, how the famous and free Grandpa’s Garage was started, Grandpa’s rules of civility, favorite trails, favorite Jeeps, why they call the trails out here Slickrock, how not to be stupid on the trails, how they successfully changed the OHV laws in Moab allowing UTVs & Buggies on the road, and why there is a pair of burned men’s underwear on the wall of the Garage.

And we even get a pop-in visit from one of our great friends and ModernJeeper partners.

Of course we have another great Tech Tip of the week directly from Grandpa’s experience with the thousands who have come through his bay doors… the number one failure of most off-roaders.

As a note, we have posted several pictures Grandpa’s Garage on the notes page of this episode which you can find at ModernJeeperShow.com.

As always we are extremely grateful to our partners including Raceline Wheels, Warn Winches, Bestop, Milestar Tires, Rugged Radios and, of course, Metalcloak.

So, sit back, relax with a cold one, and enjoy Episode number 13 of The ModernJeeper Show…
