Ruggedman and 9ice threw lyrical punches at each other many years ago and some of the songs that helped create are discussed on this episode of the podcast. Gboyega and Nelson talk about the beautiful piece of music and how it influenced then 18 year old Foxy Brown to make a hit record that would become one of her signature tunes, this also leads us down to Nigeria as one of the big guns in the early 2000s in Psquare started their sophomore album with an Intro that gives a complete vibe and production sample of the 1984 classic "Gotta Get You Home Tonight" titling theirs "Story" which gives a feel that is undeniably great for an album Intro after so many years of climbing the ladder towards stardom for the duo. Nelson and Gboyega give background stories and touch on everything interesting about these three records and their influences.

In 2010, Eldee The Don dropped The Return of the King. It was his fifth album. Typical of Eldee, conscious of the situation in the country, he made a song of hope for Nigeria's future. The song is titled One Day. It's a rap song with two verses explicitly exploring the many dramatic and disturbing stories of the horror of Nigerian livelihood.
