Does Bias Stack the Deck When It Comes to Data?
00:38:03
If data makes for good decisions, then a lot of data must make for even better decisions, right? Don't bet on it. Decision strategist, author, and World Series of Poker Champion Annie Duke joins Michelle Dennedy to discuss that when it comes to analyzing data, people often like to stack the deck in their favor. And often at the expense of what’s best for the organization. This marks the 20th episode of the Privacy Sigma Riders Podcast, and you won’t want to miss this insightful discussion that focuses on the human element that goes into data analysis. While we always want to point to data that supports our goals and desired outcomes, it can be equally beneficial to highlight what’s wrong and what needs improving.

Don’t Stop Talking PII, Start Putting Privacy Engineering into Action
00:29:41

In Episode 19 of Privacy Sigma Riders, privacy engineering experts Ian Oliver, Jonathan Fox, and Michelle Dennedy promote a radical idea: Don’t talk in terms of PII.
