Ep 199: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 19 Premiere Recap
While Emma and Julie loved their time recapping throwback episodes, they are so so so happy to be back to break down the Season 19 premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians! It's officially the family's second-to-last premiere and there's already so much to discuss. The episode centers around Kourtney's journey of self discovery around her physical intimacy, Khloé and Scott continuing to prank Kris with another round of staged paparazzi photos, and Khloé helping her best friend Malika navigate pregnancy as a single parent.  The episode brings out a lot of interesting questions about the Kardashian’s upbringing (specifically the presence of snuggling and hugging) and Khloé re-experiencing her own pregnancy and relationship through Malika.  We also get to see a better look into Malika's stunning baby shower that took over social media, and more into Kris and Corey's relationship. This episode was so much fun and if it's any indication of the rest of the season, we're in for a good time. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit

Comments By Bravo: RHONY Reunion Part 1, RHOBH Reunion Part 2, & RHOP S5 E6
Guys - what a week. Emma and Isabel are back for their second ever Bravo-focused episode, and they have a lot to get into. Before discussing this week’s content, they briefly touch on the Salt Lake City trailer that debuted this week. Again, they aren’t recapping the shows - rather analyzing/discussing what went down.  *timestamps subject to change as ad placements may change*  NEW YORK - begins at 3:08 First up is RHONY and the explosive first part of the reunion. They dive into the wild unseen footage of Dorinda, her ongoing issues with Tinsley, and her constant deflection while answering the questions. They also get into Leah’s freshman season and Ramona’s quarantine antics.  BEVERLY HILLS - begins at 39:50 In Beverly Hills, this is the week of Denise. First they discuss the announcement of her departure of the show, her difficult season, and new information about the Brandi saga. They also get into Kyle v Dorit, and Rinna & Garcelle’s discussions about Amelia (and how the unseen footage made Garcelle’s comments look more out of left field than they were in actuality.)  POTOMAC - begins at 1:08:59 Potomac was a breath of fresh air this week, with a hilariously edited episode of the ladies at Monique’s lake house. From pancake competition, pageants, and a day of fishing, there was so much entertainment. The last 10 minutes were the big reveal of Michael’s night out and how they will tell Ashley. As always, Gizelle BRINGS it. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit

Ep 197: Kardashian Bonus Show: The End Of KUWTK + Season 2, Episode 8 Recap
Emma & Julie contacted their producer in a panic to make sure they could re-record an intro before this episode was published. As you all know, the news of KUWTK ending broke Tuesday night, and it wouldn’t have felt right to not address that. They recorded their live reaction, and hypothesized as to what this means going forward. Truly, the end of an era. Season 2 Ep 8 Recap:  After last week’s explosive sibling fight while picking up Kim's Bentley, the family decides they need a ski trip to Colorado to relive the good old days - and give us another iconic episode while they're at it. But Kim is still NOT happy to be with her siblings, and the tension is palpable from the start.  The family's frustration with Kim's behavior (and obsession with iChatting and texting Reggie) leads to another massive fight - and our first real introduction to Kim's infamous "crying face." When Kris finally throws Kim's phone on the ground, Kim runs away and leaves a note behind. She's eventually convinced to come back and continue the trip, and alls well that ends well.  Caitlyn is having the time of her life, and finds a group of ski instructors who are big fans. She invites them to the house for beer and pizza, and shows a side of herself that Kris hasn't seen in forever.  This is another incredible episode filled with quotable lines, Juicy tracksuits, Sidekicks, Hummers, more. Ep 196: Popstar Music Video, Miley on Rogan, A Britney Update, New Relationships, Nobu Malibu & More.

The cameos, the set, the Hailey of it all…there’s just so much to say, and it was pure genius.  They break down Miley’s interview with Joe Rogan and her comments on public divorce, the VMAs, and more. Next, an update on Britney’s conservatorship and her boyfriend’s IG comments. There was tons of relationship speculation: Jay Cutler/Tomi Lahren, Kaia Gerber/Jacob Elordi, Halsey/Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson/G-Eazy ‘swap,’ Rumer Willis/Armie Hammer, and Minka Kelly/Trevor Noah. They also touch on Finneas’ song inspired by Nick Cordero and Amanda Kloots.  In the award ceremony, Demi Lovato takes home the gold for “funniest comment” of the week.  Kardashian recap dives into Sofia Richie and Jaden Smith spotted at the beach, and Kendall and Devin Booker’s trip with the Bieber’s.  Highlighted Black-Owned Business:  Our BOM (Black Owned Market)  Text VOTE to 26797 Zach Banner's B3 Foundation: Support Jacob Blake’s Family: Justice for Elijah McClain: Justice for Breonna Taylor:  The Loveland Foundation: Learn more about your ad choices. Comments By Bravo: RHOBH Reunion Part 1, RHONY Finale & RHOP S5 E5
Emma and Isabel are SO so excited to finally bring you Bravo-only episode breakdowns. They are going deep on what's going on this week in the world of Bravo - from analyzing the episodes, all of the off-screen social media drama, things you may not have noticed, and more. Note: these are not recaps, more so discussion/analysis. They start fresh off the New York finale, where they get into Dorinda's unwarranted hate towards Tinsley, Luann's cabaret career, the future of the franchise, some surprise cameos, Sonja's Drag Queen bingo event, and Ramona's date to the party. Next is the beginning of the jaw-dropping, groundbreaking, super glamorous Beverly Hills reunion filmed via 'Zoom.' This is only part 1 of 3, but there is already SO much to unpack. They discuss Garcelle's freshman season as a housewife, her and Kyle's ongoing issues, Sutton's role in the group and plotlines this season, Denise and the threesome conversation that never ended, Erika speaking her mind, and what's to come with Brandi and Denise on the next two parts. Finally, they touch on this week's episode of Potomac, which centers around the ladies taking a trip to Monique's fabulous lake house (with T'Challa in tow, of course.) They analyze why Wendy and Ashley get off on the wrong foot, Ashley and Michael's relationship, Monique's hosting skills, Karen's blunt commentary on Gizelle, and why Potomac is like no other Housewives show. We had the best time and hope you guys enjoy!!!!!! Thank you for letting us do this. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit

Ep 195: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 2, Episode 7 Recap
The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived - Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé's famous fight over Kim's custom Bentley. This episode is where the phrase 'don't be f*cking rude!' was invented and it is reality TV gold (or as Emma likes to say, 'cinematic genius.') The episode centers around Kim picking up her brand new car, but having a meltdown when her sisters seemingly ruin the big moment for her. They really get into it after Kim hits Khloé with her bag, says she hates them, and storms off crying. Rob tries to help diffuse the situation and bring them all back together.  Kris enjoys a fun night out with her girlfriend Ellen and after a few too many vodkas, they end up at the infamous Shamrock Tattoo parlor. Her intention is just to support Ellen as she gets her tattoo, but of course, she finds herself in the chair getting Kendall and Kylie's names on her lower back. Learn more about your ad choices. Ep 194: The VMAS, Brad Pitt, Bella Thorne OnlyFans, Rihanna x A$AP + A Kardashian Recap & Bravo Debrief
Emma and Julie begin today's episode with a tribute to actor Chadwick Boseman, who tragically passed away this week at the age of 43 after a silent battle with colon cancer. They discussed his unparalleled contribution to our world, and the generosity of kindness and spirit that he showed to so many. Next, they get into a recap of the 2020 Video Music Awards which were done virtually - some fashion, some performances, and some winners. They also break down Bella Thorne's scandal on OnlyFans, give an update on Britney Spears' situation with Jamie Lynn as her trustee, deep dive A$AP Rocky and Rihanna's interviews, and more. Ep 193: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 2, Episodes 5 & 6 Recap
In order to ensure they can make it through the most noteworthy episodes of Season 2 (including Kim's Bentley breakdown and the family's trip to Colorado) before Season 18 returns on Sept 17th, Emma and Julie are breaking down both episodes 5 and 6. They first do a brief run through of episode 5, which centers around Kim and Kourtney's desire to find Khloé a boyfriend. They set up an online dating profile behind her back, and organize a series of blind dates to spy on. Caitlyn and Kris attempt to teach Kendall the value of a dollar by assigning her chores, which leads to her hiring a local dog walker to complete them for her. Episode 6 is a GOOD one. Rob looks to Kim for business advice, as she helps him pursue a career in modeling while he finishes college at USC. The girls worry about their safety after Dash has a break-in, so in true early 2000s reality TV style, they take a self defense class and make a trip to a gun range to practice their shooting skills. Scott's dynamic with Rob is on display (plus a little PDA between him and Kourtney) and we couldn't ask for anything better Get ready for the cinematic genius that is next week’s episode. Ep 191: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 2, Episode 4 Recap
Emma and Julie are so excited because the first preview for the new season of KUWTK (premiering September 17th) debuted this week, and it seems like we're in for an epic season. (As well as a look into the Kardashian/Jenner life in quarantine when the pandemic hits mid-filming.) Three more episodes until Season 18 returns.  In this week's throwback episode (after a hilarious opening of the family searching for their mom's vibrator,) Kris is given the opportunity to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a cheerleader. It takes a lot of hard work, a private session with an A-list choreographer, and even causes an unexpected injury. But, Caitlyn and the rest of the family are supportive of Kris' dream and help her through the process.  Kendall is beginning to enter her teenage years, and the rest of the family is noticing her shifting attitude. Kourtney and Khloé talk to her about how she's acting and give her a lesson (assisted by Kylie) on puberty, growing up, and even play her home videos from their births. It's an adorable sisterly moment and really makes you realize how far we've come. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit

Then, they celebrate the news that Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting their third child together (as announced in John's music video,) plus Morgan Stewart and Jordan McGraw expecting a baby girl, and Sophie Turner calling Joe Jonas her 'baby daddy.' Ep 189: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 2, Episode 3 Recap
In the spirit of transparency, Emma and Julie start out by letting their audience know that this particular episode of Keeping Up was definitely not one of the best. But hey - after 17 seasons, not every one is going to be a 10/10. They made the best of it - looping in some anecdotes, quotes & interesting tangential thoughts along the way.  The episode centers around two main plot lines: Kris bringing in a professional stylist to redo Caitlyn’s wardrobe, and Khloé’s desire to enter the spotlight. As they note early on, there are moments that are definitely uncomfortable as a viewer - the way Caitlyn handles Eric, the celebrity stylist, is undeniably homophobic. Because the topic of clothing is so prevalent, Emma and Julie cite some of Caitlyn’s quotes from recent interviews, regarding how early on she was so drawn to female clothing, and the strength it takes to live your most authentic self.  Kim’s work ethic is also on display, as well as her mutual support of Khloé‘s desire to be more integrated into Kim’s professional world. Khloé takes an acting class and it is entertaining, to say the least.  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit

Ep 188: WAP, An Ellen Breakdown, Laguna Beach, Common & Tiffany, Megan Fox + A Bravo Debrief, Selling Sunset & Kardashian Recap
In today's episode, Emma and Julie begin with the allegations brought upon Ellen Degeneres - the work culture at her talk show, former employees speaking out, and - in a confusing and seemingly tone-deaf move - various A-listers coming to her defense.  Next, they get into the pictures of Jennifer Garner (allegedly) and Bradley Cooper spending some time together in Malibu, and if they could possibly be an item. They then discuss Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's record-breaking music video for WAP - the cameos, the reactions, Cardi's tweets, and what it means for women's empowerment. They break down Megan Fox's post with boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly, and her ex-husband Brian Austin Green's shady nod at the post. High school sweethearts Kristin Cavalleri and Stephen Colleti reunited and shared it on Instagram...there's not much to say, but we're just so excited. Tiffany Haddish confirmed that she and Common are in fact dating (!!!) and the two had such sweet things to say about each other. In our award ceremony, Lil Yachty and Billy Eichner take home the gold for "funniest comment" and “best clapback” of the week. Ep 187: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 2, Episode 2 Recap
Emma and Julie continue their throwback recaps with the second episode of Season 2. This episode revolves around Rob’s new relationship with Adrienne Bailon and Kris’ journey to having a healthier home.  The episode begins with the family wondering why they are seeing less and less of Rob. We learn that he is in a new relationship with actress Adrienne Bailon, and they are getting serious fast. Rob breaks the news to Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé, and even debuts a big tattoo of her name on his ribs. The girls set up a secret coffee date, where they get to know Adrienne and warn her about breaking their brother’s heart. While meeting some of the family (in a Juicy Couture tracksuit and Uggs, no less,) Adrienne drops the bomb that she has to go to India to film her new movie, and they will have to navigate their relationship long distance. Rob is heartbroken, but luckily they set their BlackBerrys up with international service, and his sisters surprise him with plane tickets to go visit.  Kris hires a nutritionist to go through the family’s refrigerator and help give them some healthy food tips. When she suggests getting a chicken coop for fresh eggs, Kris immediately jumps on the idea. They take a trip to a local farm and bring home their new pets which, as expected, does not go well.

Emma & Julie are back to recap another throwback episode of KUWTK, this week with the Season 2 premiere. The season kicks off with the focus on two main plot lines: Kim’s growing fame, and Kourtney & Scott’s relationship.  The family becomes increasingly frustrated with Kim, as her mounting fame also comes with a mounting diva-like attitude. After Kim finds texts from another girl on Scott’s old phone, all hell breaks loose. Khloé & Kim take Kourtney on a girls trip to Cabo to get her mind off Scott’s antics. After much convincing, Kourtney meets with Scott to discuss his actions, and then brings along Kim and Khloé for back up.  The episode concludes with Kim apologizing for her recent behavior, and we’re left with a Kourtney and Scott reunion that elicits a lot of nostalgia.  This Week’s Black-Owned Business: Eternally in Amber

Ep 183: Kardashian Bonus Show: The Past 72 Hours on Twitter
Instead of recapping Season 2 Episode 1 as planned, Emma and Julie felt it was important to address what has been going on in the Kardashian-West family over the past 72 hours. They began by framing the episode by reminding the audience that - while widely publicized and unique in nature - we are still talking about real people, with real feelings. They express their strong intent to not contribute to the salacious narrative that the media has been pushing, and focus a large portion of the conversation on mental health.  Then, they get into the nitty gritty, catching everyone up to speed by summarizing all of Kanye’s tweets and Kim’s IG stories. After, they first engage in a discussion on the importance of de-stigmatizing mental health, and how crucial it is that people not blame Kim for this occurrence. They discuss some of the opinions that are being shared on social media, by both people with the same diagnosis, as well as members of the Black community.  Then, they analyze the celebrity aspect of all of this, as very famous names have been thrown into the mix. They discuss how Meek Mill, Larsa Pippen, and Drake all play into this, giving some background information to help contextualize some of the confusion. Ep 181: Kardashian Bonus Show: Khloé for Harper's Bazaar, Analyzed.
As promised, before jumping into their recap of Season 2, Emma and Julie did a palate cleanser episode. This week, they looked back at a June 2016 interview that Khloé did with Harper's Bazaar, and of course, analyzed every aspect of it. The feature touched on everything from the family’s former relationship with stylist Monica Rose, Khloe’s relationship with her body, men, and fame. Emma and Julie highlighted the passages of the interview that they found were the most interesting and inserted background information and discussions along the way. This also seemed fitting, as Khloé discussed her initial hesitation in doing Keeping Up with the Kardashians, her approach to Season 1, and the reasons she now enjoys it. It was a good one.  Link to article:

Ep 180: Pop Culture & Important Conversations
There is just so much to unpack this week, from tons of relationship news to serious topics of mental health and anti-semitism. Emma and Julie begin with Will and Jada's episode of Red Table Talk, where they candidly explain Jada's relationship with August Alsina and break down the current state of their marriage. They then report on the horrifying disappearance of Naya Rivera, and some of the details of the story and continued search. Our hearts and prayers are with Naya's son Josey and her entire family. They touch on Armie & Elizabeth Hammer's split after 10 years of marriage.  Emma and Julie have a very important, in-depth conversation about DeSean Jackon's anti-Semitic passage posts, the media attention (and lack thereof) around the story, and some personal anecdotes about their Jewish experiences and heritage.  This week was also heavy in relationship news: hot new couple Chris Evans and Lily James, Brooklyn Beckham's engagement to Nicola Peltz, and Bill Hader and Rachel Bilson's split. Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita have welcomed a son, Beckett, and we are so happy for the new dads! Plus, Ferguson took home both the "funniest comment" and "best clapback" in our award ceremony - with an epic combination defending his new son's name.  Isabel pops in for this week's Bravo debrief at roughly 1:25:26. They break down important elements from this week's episodes of Beverly Hills and New York, plus a few news stories. The Kardashian recap (at about 1:42:00) includes some Larsa Pippen updates, Kourtney’s Vogue Arabia interview, and Kylie's stunning Utah trip.  Simplify the voting process: Text CBC to 26797 Highlighted Black-Owned Business: Aya Paper Co.  @AyaPaper.Co Zach Banner's B3 Foundation: Justice for Elijah McClain: Justice for Breonna Taylor:

Ep 179: Emergency Ep: A Full TikTok Drama Breakdown
On Monday, all hell broke loose in the world of teenage TikTok. For anyone even remotely confused, Emma & Julie give a full play by play of all the events that transpired. Then, they bring on fellow TikTok enthusiast and co-host of Barstool's Chicks In The Office, Ria Ciuffo, to dive in even deeper.  When rumors broke that Chase Hudson, ex-boyfriend of Charli D’Amelio, and Nessa Barrett, ex-girlfriend of Josh Richards, hooked up, a tweetstorm ensued. After many hype and sway house members got on board to condemn Chase’s actions, he came out swinging. In a now-deleted tweet, he outlined all of the other alleged infidelities among the TikTok crew. It. Was. Wild. After an in-person confrontation that appears to have yielded some positive results, things are seemingly calm now. What a whirlwind.  *this was recorded at 3 pm EST on Tuesday, 6/7. Anything that happened after will not be included.  *this episode will replace this week’s Kardashian Bonus Show. We'll be back next week!

Ep 178: Will & Jada, Election 2020, Kacey Musgraves, Brad & Angie, TikTok's Greatest Romance, The Manzo Family, A RHONY Debrief, Scott & Sofia, & More
There is just so much to get into this week. Emma and Julie start by briefly discussing Kanye's latest antics: his statement that he plans to run for president in the upcoming election. To make it abundantly clear: they could not disagree with this more, and actually find it infuriating. They break down the latest rumors with Will and Jada, and why Jada's alleged affair with August Alsina made headlines this week. They then get into some relationship updates, with the announcement of Kacey Musgraves' divorce, Brad Pitt spotted leaving Angelina Jolie's house, and the exciting news that Morgan Stewart and Jordan McGraw are engaged. And, of course, the TikTok romance that broke the internet: Tati and Devin (@TheReal_Tati & @DevinCaherly) finally meeting in person. In absolutely heartbreaking news, Broadway star Nick Cordero has passed away from complications due to COVID. We are sending all of our love to Nick's wife, Amanda Kloots, and their son Elvis. Our entire hearts are with them and his whole family. Isabel joins for a Bravo debrief, which includes the wild scandal between Dina Manzo, her ex-husband Tommy, and her new husband David. Ep 177: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1 Finale Recap
Guys, we made it. Emma & Julie concluded their trip down memory lane of season 1 with a finale recap that did not disappoint. This episode begins with Kim’s true introduction to the world of fame, when rumors (both true and false) about her dating life start to swirl. She later goes on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show to address them all: Terrence Howard, Joe Francis, Pete Wentz and, of course, Reggie Bush. The episode takes a turn when naked pictures of Kourtney and her high school boyfriend resurface, and Kim is overcome with guilt, as she was the last one to have them. They initially contact Kim’s ex-husband, since his house was the last place they were at. After receiving valuable information as to their potential whereabouts, they bring in the big guns. And thus, the now famous ‘this is a case for the FBI’ gif is born. After working with the FBI and personal attorneys, the pictures are recovered, and the person soliciting them was found. The episode ends on a sweet note, with Kim assuring Kylie and Kendall, 10 and 11-years-old at the time, that she would always be there to both protect them and educate them when the time comes that they have an interest to date. It was a great one.

Ep 176: TikTok & The Music Industry, Timothée in Cabo, Kourtney & Addison, Black Is King, Shane Dawson, Rob Kardashian is Back & More
There was a lottttt to get into this week. Emma and Julie kicked off the episode with the discussion on Shane Dawson’s recent apology, the Smith family’s response, and more. They then discussed the viral photos of Timothée Chalamet and new rumored girlfriend Eiza González in Cabo. They highlighted some of the biggest winners from last night’s BET awards, and examined the music industry’s interesting relationship with TikTok. They also spoke about Michelle Obama presenting Beyoncé with the Humanitarian Award, and how she continues to change the game - most recently with the announcement of ‘Black Is King.’ In discussing Emma Roberts’ pregnancy, they reflected on how the isolation of COVID can feel particularly anxiety-inducing as it relates to pausing dating life. Ariana Grande’s relationship with Dalton Gomez was spoken about, as was her touching Father’s Day post for her dad. Other topics discussed include: Yeezy x Gap, an entire TikTok update, Khloe’s 36th Birthday, Kourtney/Scott & Coty’s KKW Beauty acquisition.  Highlighted Black-Owned Business: @LeliaxMaeJewelry Justice for Elijah McClain: Support Elijah McClain’s family: Justice for Breonna Taylor:

Ep 175: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1, Episode 7 Recap
Emma and Julie are back to recap another episode of Season 1 KUWTK. Nothing can compare to the sheer brilliance that was last week’s episode, where Kourtney and Scott celebrated Kourt’s negative pregnancy results in Vegas (and almost ended the weekend with a wedding,) but this was a close second. The episode centers around two main plotlines: Rob’s dating life (or lack thereof), and Khloe’s journey with Shorty, the homeless man who was outside of Dash. After following Rob on his date with Playboy Playmate Kara Monaco, the sisters get caught and cause some serious awkwardness. Then, Khloé, who initially is a bit insensitive to the situation, decided to take Shorty under her wing - complete with a makeover from Caitlyn’s closet and a fresh set of dentures. We are, again, reminded of Kourtney’s early KUWTK glory days, as she adds some serious flair to the episode. And, of course, there’s just something about an ‘07 Rob Kardashian that makes you swoon.

Ep 174: Chris D'Elia, MGK + Megan Fox, Beyoncé Black Parade, Angelina Jolie, A TikTok Update, Kourtney/Scott, & More.
This was quite a heavy week in celeb news. Emma and Julie begin with the allegations brought on Chris D'Elia, the outpouring of response, the victim's receipts, his statement, and the response of others close to him in Hollywood. They dig a little deeper into the male celebrity power struggle and the bravery of the victims. They also touch on other allegations that surfaced this week - including against the cast of Riverdale and Justin Bieber. They also explain Chelsea Handler's problematic Instagram post and read through some of her comments defending her decision to post it. They then gush over super hot couple Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox, celebrate Beyoncé's surprise drop of "Black Parade," give the latest update on G-Eazy and Ashley Benson, and Angelina Jolie's latest statements about Brad Pitt and their children. In epic TikTok news, they report on how a trend impacted Trump's rally in Tulsa, some of the latest drama with the biggest stars of the app, plus Addison Rae and Kourtney/Mason's friendship. Ep 173: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1, Episode 6 Recap
Guys, this was a GOOD ONE. Emma and Julie continue their recaps of KUWTK Season 1, with this whirlwind of an episode. The episode centers around 2 main plots: Kourtney & Scott’s budding relationship, and Kendall & Kylie’s wish for a puppy. (Julie even recites the handwritten letter that her 11-year-old self wrote to her parents begging for a dog - it’s gold.) It kicks off with Kourtney, who has been nauseous and hormonal, taking a pregnancy test. After an initially inconclusive result, which is later proven negative by a trip to the gynecologist, the family decides to take a celebratory trip to Vegas. Before they go, Kris gives in to Kendall & Kylie's wish, defying Caitlyn and buying them a new puppy. Leaving Kendall, Kylie, and Caitlyn at home, the rest of the family heads to Vegas...and things. got. ROWDY. Everyone is wasted, Scott semi-proposes to Kourtney, and they make it all the way to the infamous Little White Chapel before realizing that it was a bad idea. Back in Calabasas, Caitlyn finds out about the puppy, and is less than pleased. This was a RIDE. Ep 172: An Ode to Pete Davidson + Vanderpump, Matt James, OBX, TikTok, Kelly Clarkson, Dave Chappelle, RHONY, Khloé/Tristan & More
There was a lot to get into this week. First, Emma & Julie were so excited to share the news that, between CBC’s donation and the generosity of their followers, they raised $25,000 for The Loveland Foundation - an organization that funds therapy for Black girls & women.  They gave an update on the VPR scandal, including Stassi’s pregnancy announcement & Faith’s response. As The King Of Staten Island just came out on Friday, they talked at length about the movie, and their continued appreciation for Pete Davidson as a person. They spoke about Jay Pharoah’s statement regarding his unfair treatment by the LAPD, and how it highlights the disgusting reality of racial profiling in our country. They also discussed Outer Banks’ Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline confirming their relationship, and had a whole analysis on all the TikTok drama (Bryce/Addison, Hype House, etc.) Isabel then joined for a brief Bravo discussion, regarding Tinsley’s RHONY departure and Andy Cohen confirming Lori Loughlin will not be joining RHOBH. In the award ceremony, Blake Griffin and Chelsea Handler took home the gold for “best clapback” and “funniest comment” of the week. In the Kardashian recap, they spoke about the possibility of Tristan and Khloe‘s rekindling. After, they were joined by E!’s Erin Lim, host of The Rundown & BingE! Ep 171: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1 Episode 5 Recap
Before they began the season 1 Episode 5 recap, Emma & Julie reflected on the past few weeks and discussed how the conversation and work need to continue - not just for them, but for all of us. They also highlighted some concrete changes that have resulted from all of the pressure being put on our officials. Clearly, there is so much work to do. But this momentum cannot slow down. This isn’t a trend or moment in time, this is a huge change that has been a long time coming.   This episode of KUWTK centered around the fourth anniversary of Robert Kardashian’s death, and the emotions that came with it. This time of year is always difficult - for everyone, but specifically for Khloé. Her excessive drinking results in a DUI, where she spends the night in jail. Emma & Julie highlighted that moment and her release as a very most pertinent example of White privilege in action. Throughout the episode, we are brought on her emotional journey, and ultimately get to witness her getting in touch with what’s really going on inside.   Petition to reopen Sandra Bland’s case:   Petition to reopen Tamir Rice’s case:   Petition to reopen Kendrick Johnson’s case:   The Cut Article - Tamika Palmer’s story:   Tamika Palmer/Tamika Mallory video:

Ep 170: Breaking It Down with Justin Sylvester (Lea Michele, Vanderpump Rules, Kanye, & More.)
This week, Emma and Julie are joined by co-host of E’s Daily Pop, host of Just The Sip podcast, and one of their favorite people, Justin Sylvester. They started by continuing last week’s discussion, with a conversation on what’s happening in our country, the undeniable change that’s coming, and Justin’s experience at the LA protests.  The celebrity portion of this episode was a little different than normal. Instead of their typical segments, they focused solely on the different celebrity news, both positive and negative, that’s being highlighted as a result of the current focus on the racial injustice in our country. They discussed the allegations against Lea Michele, Vanderpump Rules’ Stassi and Kristen‘s behavior towards Faith Stowers, Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams’ relationship and his pledge for his daughter, and Kanye’s contribution to some of the families affected by these tragic murders.   Visit:   GoFundMe for Breonna’s Family:

Ep 169: Let’s Talk About It
In light of the tragic murder of George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man killed by four Minneapolis police officers, Emma and Julie wanted to devote this week’s episode to a very important discussion. They first spoke about the murder, and how it cannot be seen as an isolated incident, but rather a statement as to the prevalence of racial injustice and police brutality - disproportionately against black people - in our country. They then brought on Sierra Pannell, a 23-year-old young black woman, to engage in an impactful conversation. While they recognize it is not the job of black people to educate anyone, Emma and Julie firmly believe in the concept of giving space to those voices that aren’t always heard. As you’ll hear in the episode, they got to know Sierra back in February, and it was an honor to be able to share their platform with her. Emma and Julie then engaged in a conversation on white privilege, their experience in educating themselves on it, and how they can continue to learn more. The episode concluded with a passage reading from ‘White Fragility.’ Sierra’s Podcast: H.O.E.S Talkin Shows   Resources Below:   Donate: Reclaim The Block Campaign Zero Black Women’s Health Imperative George Floyd Memorial Fund Black Visions Collective   Visit:   Educate: I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings - Maya Angelou Their Eyes Were Watching God - Zora Neale Hurston White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard For White People to Talk About Racism - Robin DiAngelo White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack - Peggy McIntosh Time: The Kalief Browder Story (Netflix) 13th (Netflix)

Following the theme of last week’s Mexico trip, Caitlyn continues to be uncomfortable by the nature of this shoot. We watch as Kim gives Kris her very own Playboy spread, meets with Hugh Hefner to discuss nudity, and ultimately give us the iconic "you're doing amazing sweetie" line that will go down in the books. This episode has it all - mirrored LV totes, the Playboy mansion, and a young Rob.

Ep 166: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1, Episode 3 Recap
Emma and Julie return for another epic throwback from KUWTK Season 1. This episode centers around the girls flying to ‘Girls Gone Wild’ founder Joe Francis' house in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, to model for a swimsuit photoshoot. Knowing Caitlyn wouldn’t approve, Kris lies and says the girls are going on a weekend getaway for a little R&R. When Brody comes to the house the next day, he reveals - to Caitlyn’s surprise - the truth about their trip. Caitlyn catches the next flight to PV to really get down to the bottom of it, leaving Brody to take care of Kendall and Kylie. Caitlyn’s conservative attitude is in direct opposition to Kris, and her rather chill demeanor regarding the whole thing. This episode was a classic - from start to finish.

Ep 164: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1, Episode 2 Recap
During the KUWTK hiatus, Emma & Julie decided to take a trip down memory lane. They’re continuing their season 1 coverage, now recapping Season 1, Episode 2 of KUWTK. This episode centers around Kim’s growing frustration with Kris as her manager, and Caitlyn’s lengthy responsibilities as it applies to taking care of the kids. Kendall and Kylie, 11 and 10 years old, are a lot to handle, so Kris decides to bring in some babysitting help in an effort to give Caitlyn some more free time. We all know how that turns out. We also see Kim seriously consider hiring another manager, interviewing none other than The Hills’ Frankie Delgado. As usual, there is a never ending amount of now and then comparisons drawn, and ‘what ifs’ hypothesized about.

The Effect of Organic Celebrity Endorsements on Small Businesses
This bonus episode is part of the Small Business Podference presented by Dell Technologies. As small business owners themselves, Emma and Julie wanted to put this topic in the context of their usual content: pop culture. In doing so, they examined how organic celebrity endorsements impact small businesses. They started with a discussion of some instances they’ve noticed themselves, and then got the chance to speak with three small business owners who have been directly impacted by these natural celebrity shoutouts. First, they spoke with Sarah Paiji Yoo, CEO and co-founder of eco-friendly cleaning brand, Blueland. In addition to being a Shark Tank success story, Blueland was notoriously (and organically!) tweeted about by Kim Kardashian West. They spoke to Sarah about the moment she saw that tweet, and the sales increase that transpired as a result of it. They also spoke with Merri Glecker, CEO & Owner of Kashwere - a lifestyle brand very close to Emma’s heart - about the boost experienced by being featured on Oprah’s favorite things. She recounted the phone call from Oprah, and what transpired in the following months. Lastly, they spoke with Jordan Nathan, Founder & CEO of Caraway Home, about his line of chemical free cookware and how influencer marketing has played into his business. *None of these small businesses paid to be included. They were all thoughtfully selected by Emma and Julie, based on their own fondness for and interest in the products.*

Ep 161: Kardashian Bonus Show: Behind The Christmas Eve Party
Emma and Julie are back to recap another episode of KUWTK. And this was a good one. The episode centers around the infamous Christmas Eve party, and the planning and logistics associated with it. This sparked some really interesting discussion as to what each family member prioritizes. The other main plot discussed was Scott’s tragic loss of his parents and the way he is honoring their memory. The filler plot here was Khloe‘s brief stint as Kris’s assistant, which honestly gave us some great insight into Kris’s daily responsibilities and the Kylie cosmetics office.

Emma and Julie are back to give a scene-by-scene recap of Thursday night’s KUWTK. As the majority of the family are Scorpios, this episode features a plethora of birthday celebrations. Kim’s thoughtfulness is especially appreciated, as her sentimental birthday lunch for Kris left everyone in tears. These birthdays also allow us an unprecedented double scene appearance by Rob. Emma and Julie also analyze Khloe and Tristan‘s dynamic as it applies to her fertility journey, and what that could mean for their future. Corey finally got the Kardashian birthday treatment he deserves, with a spontaneous surprise trip to Napa. Lastly, and perhaps the most impactful part of the episode, we got to see the inner workings of Kim’s efforts regarding Rodney Reed.

As usual, Emma & Julie recapped Thursday night’s KUWTK, scene by scene. While this episode wasn’t as drama-filled as the first two, it definitely led to some interesting discussion. We got to see Khloé and Tristan’s co-parenting dynamic play out, where a conversation arose as to her strong feelings on not ‘blurring the lines.’ Cleveland was also in focus this episode when Khloé brought True back to Tristan’s home there. Kylie and Kris’s relationship was highlighted, as Kris was her primary caretaker after the LASIK eye surgery. And of course, Emma & Julie’s favor dynamic duo - Khloé & Scott - were at it again, in all their pranking glory.

Ep 146: Kardashian Bonus Show: Season 1, Episode 1

Keeping up with the Kardashians comes back into season next week, so the bonus shows will resume as usual: a scene by scene recap of Thursday night’s episodes.

Ever wondered what it’s like to be on the inside of Instagram? Well, Emma & Julie definitely did. In their first ever mini-episode, the two sat down with Charles Porch, Head of Global Creative Programs at Instagram. What a ride it was. Over the course of 25 minutes, Charles gave insight as to what it’s like being on the other side of Instagram, how he sees Comments By Celebs fitting into the media landscape, and so much more. Initially, the interview was supposed to be a segment inserted into one of the regular shows. But as you will hear - once they started talking, they couldn’t stop. Truly, this was one of the most informative and insightful conversations the girls have had to date. Can not wait for you all to listen!
