Seems this podcast has the marmite effect on listeners, & just like marmite i ♡ it! I get that it might not be for everyone, but to dislike it just cos it isn't like S&S is bizarre to me. Tyler's writing shines here & Jack+Mike deliver it.

This podcast is a great combination of talents. Most podcasts have a hands off feel so as a listener you don't have a connection to the violence. This podcast gives us insight into the mind of that murderer.

I have been a fan of Mike from the start & new fan of Jack's! The story telling format is completely different from S & S as it includes reading theatrics of not so well known cases. keep up your hard work guys! No one's perfect you get 4*

Stories are very hit and miss. The emphasis in their voices to try and make the stories scary is way over the top. Can easily get distracted from following the story

I'm very surprised by the ridiculous extremes to the reviews here. the fact is if you like True Crime semi-fictional theater then this is a good well written podcast. if you want fact-based true crime stories then listen to sword and scale

Immersive. Unlike any true crime podcast I've ever listened to. The writing allows you to touch, taste, see, hear, and smell the moment. Bravo guys and gals. Well done.

I guess I'm just a little disappointed. It wasn't what I was hoping for. I don't want theater. I want the facts to wow me. this just felt corny.
