Description

Fairyland was an amusement arcade and shooting gallery located at 92 Tottenham Court Road in London, between 1909 and 1921. This podcast is the true story of how Fairyland was connected to three historical events: an assassination seen as one of the first acts of revolution in the Indian independence movement, a plan to kill the Prime Minister of Great Britain and Ireland by Suffragettes, and a murder that changed criminal case law. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tottenham_Court_Road#Early_history Let me share what we found when we tried to sort out the facts from fiction.
