My name is Brad Mills, I am a Bitcoiner. I'm an average person, I just got into Bitcoin early. I'm not a coder, I look at this space from the point of view of a regular user. I believe BTC is the best form of money. It’s free speech money. Digital Gold. Programmable money for the age of the Internet, uncensorable, peer to peer cash. A new asset class, a store of value. One of the most important open source inventions of our time, gifted to the world by an anonymous creator whose identity is still not known! I fell down the rabbit hole & have been following Bitcoin since 2011. This podcast is my evolving journey in the world of cryptocurrency as I try to reconcile my bitcoin maximalist philosophy & my respect for the Austrian Economic, Libertarian & Cypherpunk roots of bitcoin's creation with the desire to stack BTC by investing in the rest of the space. I hope you enjoy the conversations.

What do you think the US National Debt is? How do you think USD has performed as a store of value over the past 100 years? Would you be surprised to hear that the USD has lost 96% of its purchasing power over the last 100 years? If you adjust for the drop in purchasing power of USD, what do you think the return would be? What do you think creates the new USD? What type of entity do you think the US Federal Reserve is? Without googling, who do you think controls bitcoin? Do you consider yourself knowledgeable about what bitcoin is? Which asset do you think has been a better investment over the past 10 years compared to bitcoin? If all the cash in the world is worth $80Trillion, all the gold is worth $8 Trillion, all real estate is worth $200 Trillion, what do you think all the bitcoin in the world is worth? Do you trust banks? If bitcoin succeeds as the electronic money of the internet, do you think it could ever increase in price 50x to be worth the same amount as gold? ($8 Trillion) Conclusion

Comedian Hunter Collins Learns he is a NoCoiner
01:47:12
This episode is with my nocoiner friend Hunter Collins, a comedy writer & standup comedian who was part of the marijiuana legalization activist movement in Toronto. Hunter & I used to do sketch & standup comedy together in Toronto in a previous life. I gave up on comedy it to become an entrepreneur & twitter shitposter, but he’s stuck with the comedy thing and is really good at it. I wanted to do some episodes of the podcast with people who aren’t doing this full time … typically bitcoin podcasts are being done with influencers, developers, crypto founders or others embedded in the Bitcoin space … but I wanted to do something different and get an idea of how far away we might be from mass adoption of bitcoin as money by talking to some above average nocoiner friends. Bitcoin vs Altcoins with NotSoFast
02:38:49
bitconnect theme by schmoyoho, graphics by CryptoScamHub, Magic Internet Money inspired by u/mavensbot, invention of bitcoin & all cryptocurrencies by satoshi nakamoto. -- My name is Brad Mills, I am a Bitcoiner. I am not a coder, I look at Bitcoin through the lens of a user & I believe BTC is the best form of money. I am not trying to make money with this show or sell you anything. This podcast is my evolving journey in the world of cryptocurrency as I try to reconcile my bitcoin maximalist philosophy & my respect for the Austrian Economic, Libertarian & Cypherpunk roots of bitcoin's creation with the the desire to stack BTC by investing in the rest of the space. -- Brad Mills is a partner at Xsquared Ventures.
