Andrew Harding - The Nocking Point Story

It's very casual Friday in this edition of "How'd You Do It?" We have been getting a lot of requests from people who have been watching/listening since the beginning to ask Drew how he did it.  Today's the day we find out his journey from Walla Walla Washington to Southern California and everything in between that lead up to us sitting here today. We also open up this episode with a bang debating leaf blowers, local construction, and if paint ball guns should be allowed to send a message. Other highlights include Zaco's thoughts on The Twilight Saga, who's going to be crowned the first ever TNT Champion on Saturday at AEW's Double or Nothing PPV between Cody Rhodes & Lance Archer, and which team comes out the winner  during Sunday's golf match between Tiger Woods & Peyton Manning vs. Phil Mickelson & Tom Brady.

Kat McNamara - From a Small Town to Huge Success

Kat McNamara was one of the very first people to ever join Stephen live on instagram during quarantine back before we started doing these on a regular basis. That chat is actually gone forever now because it didn't save, but lucky for you Kat is back!  Not only do we get to catch up with her and see what she's been up to during the stay at home order, but we find out how she did it.  How did a young girl from Kansas City end up as the soon-to-be lead of her own super hero television show, and what's it been like being a part of two series with such engaged and supportive fanbases. Plus, Drew really just went for it with today's hypotheticals. It's a good thing everyone is working from home because this one is not safe for work. In fact, it might not even be safe for work from home!

If you hadn't heard... Kat McNamara created a wine for Nocking Point's Tastemakers Club back in March, and there are still a limited number of bottles left for sale inside the NP Shop! Get your "Of Queens & Angels" today at

Colton Haynes - Small Town Dreams Led to "Arrow"

It's Friday, and we're sitting down with Andale Kansas' own Colton Haynes! There's certainly a lot to talk about between Colton and Stephen having spent time together on set for nearly 7 years shooting Arrow, but we ask Colton how he did it?  How did a boy from a small town of 650 people in rural Kansas get started in modeling, and how did that eventually turn into acting.  We also find out where he stands on this week's most popular debate of the money and the snail.  This one is another good one.  It's episode 13, and it's casual Friday. Enjoy!

If you have a second, please check out to learn more about how you can help those effected by the current shutdown of restaurants and wine bars, and how you can apply for assistance if you are one of those people.

Caity Lotz - Actress/Director

Today's guest on the pod is Caity Lotz.  Many of you know her from her role of Sara Lance on Arrow/DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but today we're going to find out just how she did it! Caity has a pretty interesting back story of how she broke into the entertainment biz, and the path that lead her to auditioning (and almost not getting) the role of Sara Lance.  She talks about how that role evolved to one of the lead characters on a successful spin-off show, to how she got interested/started in directing.  Caity also answers this week's most popular question of if she'd let a snail chase her around the world for $10 million dollars!  Oh, and she's also faced with a really tough edition of Zaco's hypothetical fight, because Sara Lance is one of the competitors! Will she bet against herself?

Looking for the perfect summer tee that you can just rip the sleeves off and let loose? Head on over to - We just added some new designs, including the never-before-seen Code 8 & Chill label tee! NP Tees is powered by our friends at Pro Wrestling Tees.

Speaking of Code 8 & Chill, get yours today at - It's the perfect wine for staying home, ordering a pizza, and popping on your favorite sci-fi thriller.  It's a Sangiovese hand picked by Robbie Amell himself.

Mark Bunting - 1st AD/Director - Movies & Television

We have a great chat for all the Arrow fans today as we're joined by Mark Bunting, who was a long time 1st AD and also Director on the show. Mark tells us all about growing up in BC and working his way up to becoming a 1st AD on a super popular network series. He's been in the business for more than 20 years and has some seriously awesome credits under his belt, so of course we ask him if he liked working with Stephen Amell, Tom Cruise, or Bradley Cooper the most.  Then we dive into some sports nostalgia, from the Seattle Supersonics of the 90's, to the Vancouver Grizzlies, to re-living some of those days watching "The Last Dance" on ESPN.  That all leads up to today's hypothetical fight, where we take a deeper look at a potential 2020 Mike Tyson comeback and decide who he could beat, and who he couldn't beat at age 53.  Thanks for listening to episode 11 of "How'd You Do it?"
