Candace Parker on keeping perspective
Kelley O’Hara talks with basketball legend Candace Parker. A future Hall of Famer, Candace was a two-time NCAA champion and player of the year at Tennessee under coaching icon Pat Summitt. After being selected No. 1 in the 2008 WNBA draft, Candace won both rookie of the year and league MVP during first season of professional play. A two-time Olympic gold medalist with Team USA, Candace won the 2016 WNBA championship with the Los Angeles Sparks and was named finals MVP.
