Church exists at the intersection of several realms. 1. Church whose defining motif incorporates 4 functions: kerygma, koinonia, diakonia & marturia. 2. Culture. Culture = society. The aspects to any society are Political, economic, social & ideational. 3. Mission, which is both transmitted & appropriated among various people & cultures. I use the practical example of men and religion to help process each of these realms. This podcast will include conversations with church leaders & South East Asian Theological Schools classes that will help us wrestle with these realms.
