Being stuck with bad luck isn’t the end of the world. And when you’ve been saddled with it from the get-go, you adjust. At least that’s what Micah would like to believe. After all, what’s the worst that could happen?

Season one follows Micah Oak, an avid pessimist and monologue lover, and their constant run-ins with bad luck. After starting a new job doing nightshifts at their local convenience store, their life only fills with more questions. For example... Just who is that man? And why of all places did my sister's boyfriend have to work here? And is my co-worker a murderer? As If that wasn't enough to handle, Micah must also find the strength to fix their bad luck streak before it takes over. All told through the eyes of Mx. Bad Luck themself, a very unreliable narrator.
