The Psalter holds s vital place in the prayer of the church and in Orthodox Christian Teaching and Bible-study. The Psalter in audio format is provided here to support the hearing and praying of the Psalms. The text of the Psalms was translated by Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Brookline, MA. The Psalms are read by a monk of the monastery in a manner of simple intonation, common to Orthodox Christian liturgical service.
