‘My Neighbour The Hero’ will feature everyday people who have survived, achieved, helped, endured, experienced and lived - the everyday heroes, the forgotten heroes, the reluctant heroes. And in turn, helping us to recognise the hero within ourselves.

The definition of a hero (on Wikipedia) is 'a real person who…combats adversity through feats of ingenuity, courage, or strength’. In todays world, a lot of us face some kind of adversity, and how we move through those adversities can be the difference in living a life that's free or a life that's stuck. 

I'm Sarah Speirs, I'm a TV Producer and I’ve worked in TV for 18 years. Having seen the power that other people's stories have to make us feel seen, to inspire and connect us as humans, I think there’s no better to way to help people learn and grow, than by learning from the heroes amongst us.
