Description

Through my journey of exploring my identity as a Christian, I have had many moments where my own beliefs and the Christian stance are contradicting each other. Mostly regarding gender issues. For instance, whether women should be allowed access to abortion, whether women are the “helper” of the men… These moments threw me into overwhelming desperation: I feel horrible for gaining strength from Christ; yet, not believing in His (the masculine pronoun also once bothered me, and is still largely debated in the academic field) words. Luckily, I was able to find older, and wiser people around me who have shared with me their conflicting experiences as a Christian and how they came to a balance through their interpretation of scriptures. I am motivated and encouraged by these loving people to further discover & uncover my position between the world and Christianity, as well as starting this podcast. Each month, I will be inviting a guest to share their stories and how they have built a strong personal connection with the Lord through the struggles being given to them. This podcast aims to provide possibilities for Christians, as well as motivating people to think deeper and more critically based on the scripture to establish their own Biblical worldview. And I would also like to invite you, my audience, to witness my own spiritual growth.❤️
