True Crime of the Historical Kind explores the very human stories of murder, mystery, and tragedy throughout history. Drawing on my background in history and my interest in true crime, I share the stories that fascinate me, looking beyond the events themselves to better understand the people involved and the world in which they lived. Each series brings the historical context into focus, from the beliefs and attitudes of the time to the circumstances people faced and the choices they made. Because the past may be distant, but human nature rarely is.
