Meet Being A Woman
683
Being a woman holds so many stories. Just like a diamond, so many facets. We are story tellers, passing down the knowledge that our mothers taught us and their mothers taught them. We are lovers. We are friends. We are sometimes mothers, and sometimes not. We hold secrets, and we hold truths. During an interaction with my patron group, I asked.. “what does it mean to be a woman?” Here are some of their answers. Support the show (http://patreon.com/hollimostella) |

Meet Burnout
616
At some point in your creative career, you’re going to experience burnout. I think it’s important than you know it’s normal, and it doesn’t mean you're failing. Burnout is common, and it’s real. It casts false shadows that you’re not good at what you do, that you don't find happiness in things you once did, or even that you’re lazy. None of those things are true. Let me tell you about what exactly burnout is, and how to take steps to overcome it. Support the show (http://patreon.com/hollimostella) |

Meet Bruce Jackson: Having the Hard Conversations
3465
If you have been following me for a while, you know that I use my platforms to speak for those that feel they have no voice. Shattering stigmas around mental health, anxiety and depression, and body image. I have never been known to be an activist, but an advocate. In the recent weeks, I’ve found there’s another topic that I have to include as the basis of this podcast. Black Lives Matter. Today, yesterday, tomorrow, and every day after. One of the hardest aspects of this movement is finding out about white privilege. What made it even harder... was discovering that I have white privilege. It’s important to know that white privilege and racism is not the same. The last few weeks I’ve not been sleeping. After seeing the brutal death of George Floyd, and then researching to find many other deaths, I knew it was more than important to help others understand what our Black community is going through. I bear a heavy heart for what has been in front of me my entire life, and not seeing or understanding. More importantly.. not helping. But this is not new for the Black community. Thankfully, it is coming to light, and helping people like myself realize that people need more understanding.. so that we can continue to stand for humanity. This week I’m bringing in Bruce Jackson. He’s owner and master of operations at Backfist Customs, a glitter company I have loved and used for about 3 years now. Support the show (http://patreon.com/hollimostella) |

Meet Your Body: Accepting the Mirror's Reflection
608
I recently took a poll in my patron group. The question was, have you ever struggled with your body image or loving your body? 100% answered yes. 100% of almost 500 people that participated said yes, they have struggled to accept their body. Here’s the thing. I have existed in small, medium, and a large body size. For the last 5 years, it has been a major burden. Something that attributed to depression, missing out on life memories, and experiences with my friends and families. Support the show (http://patreon.com/hollimostella) |

Meet Your Maker
584
You guys knows me as Holli Mostella, content creator. With this platform, i want to show you what it’s like behind the craft room doors. To bring in people that inspire me, and to have a place where my voice can be heard. In this episode I want to reveal more of myself. So we can get to know each other before we get started on this amazing adventure. So, while we go through this journey together, here’s a few things to know about me: I am a mama to two beautiful daughters. Yes, it’s hard, yes, it’s almost impossible to get things done, but that’s for another episode. I am a huge advocate for mental health, and many other things that stigma surrounds. I am a lover of all things crafty. I make glitter and artistic tumblers, I love metal stamping like with Impressart, I love hand lettering images for my patrons, and I am a Product Expert for Cricut. +Peachy Olive Glitters: http://peachyoliveglitters.com +Backfist Customs Glitter: http://backfistcustomsglitter.com +My Glitter Addiction: http://www.MyGlitterAddiction.com +Ann Dixon +Amy Sullivan: http://www.facebook.com/glitterismyjam +Molly Carroll +Wanderlust Glitter: http://www.wanderdustglitters.com +Ashley Marie: https://www.facebook.com/groups/417239642278873 +Ciarla Jenisse: http://instagram.com/laracis.designs +Mayra Elena: https://www.instagram.com/craftingbymayra +Raven Noelle: https://instagram.com/lightningandskycreations Support the show (http://patreon.com/hollimostella) |

I want to help you reach your goals, and inspire you along the way. i’m so excited to use this podcast to connect with you. it seems like i’m going in so many directions, i wanted one place where we can sit down and say, hey – I’m here to inspire you. In my next episode, I will be taking you through a deep dive of my background. Who I am, what I do, and what it took to get me here. I’m excited to share my story with you, and to be honest, and little nervous, too. But- that’s what this podcast is about. Taking back control of what we can, and letting go of what does not serve us. Join me next week as I begin this journey with you, and follow me on Instagram Instagram.com/HolliMostella to stay up to date on when new podcasts launch.
