Akon on Defending Tekashi, T-Pain Never Leaving the Hood, Not Signing Drake, Eminem
Akon came through for another VladTV interview, and this time around, he went more in-depth on his story, including growing up in both the U.S. and Senegal. A clip from the start of the conversation went viral after Akon stated that he feels like Black people in America hold themselves back in some ways by focusing on slavery. He also spoke about living in St. Louis, which he called the "ghetto-est" place he's ever seen, and Akon then detailed an elaborate $700,000 a month car theft ring that he was running, which landed him in jail for 3 years. Moving along, Akon spoke about getting a mere $12,000 for his first deal with SRC Records, and he then got into a debate with Vlad about doing "Locked Up 2" with Tekashi. He also addressed signing various artists himself, including Lady Gaga, Jeffree Star, and T-Pain, who Akon says was held back in his career because he never left the urban sector. DL Hughley on Kanye's Hatred of Black Women, Jada Pinkett being Predatory with August, R Kelly Making Us Forget He Peed on a Girl (Part 2/2)
In this part of D.L. Hughley's latest conversation on VladTV, the comedian talked about how there are monuments of white men who carried out heinous acts on people of color, specifically black people. Hughley gave his take on Kanye West's controversial and rather disrespectful historical account of Harriet Tubman. He said he believes Ye's mental issues are a convenient ploy. DL also explained why Kanye's take on slavery is the source of his ire toward the super-producer. Later, DL weighed in on Mike Tyson reportedly making a return to the boxing ring and said he's the "baddest" 53-year-old on the planet. He also reacted to Donald Trump not "having enough respect" for the office of the presidency to attend John Lewis's funeral.

In part 2 of Luenell's interview with Tiffany Haddish, she started out by speaking on the various shows she's worked on, such as The Last OG, The Carmichael Show, Real Husbands of Hollywood, and Tyler Perry's If Loving You is Wrong. She spoke about how Kevin helped her when she was homeless, how Drake canceled their date, and currently dating Common. There were some deeper moments toward the end of the interview, including Tiffany looking back on her friendship with Nipsey Hussle, as she revealed that their fathers were best friends. Keefe D on Being in the Car that Killed 2Pac (Part 3/3)
Keefe D starts out by speaking about South Side Crips being blamed for Biggie’s murder, which he said was “bullsh*t.” Keefe revealed that he met up with Diddy and Biggie the night before Biggie was killed, and Keefe D added that it was the first time he saw Diddy since 2Pac was killed. During the conversation, Keefe D addressed the rumor that Diddy owed them $1 million, Orlando Anderson being killed, and being shot the day he got out of prison. Later, Keefe D addressed the confession tapes that detailed him being in the car that shot 2Pac in Las Vegas, which Keefe says was secretly recorded. Elsewhere in the interview, Keefe D detailed the lead up to the Las Vegas shooting involving 2Pac and Suge Knight, including Orlando Anderson's mall fight with Death Row's Travon Lane. In part two of Boosie's conversation with DJ Vlad, the Louisiana legend gave his take on the murder of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police and detailed why his hatred for law enforcement runs so deep. Boosie then directed his attention at his friend Gillie Da Kid, who spoke out against the Black Lives Matter movement by citing that the person who shot him was a black man. Boosie said Gillie needs to "STFU" because he's missing the point about the movement and what protesters are out in the streets over. Later, Boosie described what it was like being on death row which included having "sh** fights" but didn't go as far as to say it was the worst place he's been in his life.

He detailed everything surrounding the restraining order his brother Nick and sister Angel placed on him and what that did for the long-term implications of their relationship. Aaron went on to speak about his friendship with Michael Jackson and offered what he thought about the allegations against the "King of Pop." According to Aaron, Michael never showed signs of being "creepy" during their interactions nor did he ever see him act that way with anyone else. He also gave a breakdown of his beef with Justin Bieber and where things stand between them.

In part-2 of Chuck D's conversation with DJ Vlad, the legendary emcee talked about the creation of one of the most storied protests songs of all-time, "Fight the Power," and how Spike Lee helped amplify the song and its message. Chuck D spoke about the influence of the Nation of Islam on hip-hop and said that despite not being on the periphery himself, there were members of P.E. who were also N.O.I. members. In part 2 of our interview with Gianni Russo, he starts out by explaining how he got the role as Carlo Rizzi on "The Godfather" despite never acting before. After speaking about the film, Gianni explained how the movie ended up saving his life after he was kidnapped by Pablo Escobar for killing the kingpin's associate. In part 1 of our sit-down with Gianni Russo, he spoke about his upbringing in Little Italy and having family ties to the Italian Mafia, including his uncle Angelo, who was hanged in Sicily. He went on to speak about his own ties to the mob, as Gianni started working for Luciano crime boss Frank Costello at 13. While working for Costello, Gianni met Marilyn Monroe, who he says came onto him when he was 16 and she was 28. The two carried on a long friendship, and Gianni spoke about being with Monroe just days before she died, which he said was a murder carried out by Bobby Kennedy. Gianni went on to speak about having a role in the mob killing JFK, and he also spoke about why Jimmy Hoffa's body will never be found.

Daniel Green on Getting Convicted for Murdering Michael Jordan's Father (Part 2/2)
In part 2 of VladTV’s interview with Daniel Green, he addressed evidence surrounding the murder of Michael Jordan’s father. While speaking about the shirt that Jordan’s father was wearing, Green believes that a bullet hole was added to the shirt after the initial coroner’s investigation. He went on to speak about authorities lying about blood in the car, and Daniel added that the situation boils down to whether you believe Larry Demery’s side of the story, or Daniel’s side of the story. He also added that Jordan’s father was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Daniel went on to speak about Larry pleading guilty and getting a 40 year sentence despite initially looking at over 200 years. Daniel added that Larry robbed and assaulted another woman before the incident with Jordan’s father, which Larry was facing charges for. When Daniel went to trial, Larry testified against him and said that Daniel was the triggerman in the murder of Jordan’s father. Daniel added that a judge stated that Larry wasn’t credible. He went on to speak about being a friend to Larry as kids when others wouldn’t and feeling betrayed when Larry pinned the murder of James Jordan on him. Later, Michael spoke about gambling in the NBA, including Michael Jordan's love of gambling, which Michael saw firsthand when Jordan made Horace Grant go to his room and get $5 from a bet. In the second half of our sit-down with Dexter "Sosa" Hussey, the BMF co-founder details the downfall of BMF, which started after brothers Big Meech and Southwest T parted ways following a physical altercation. He spoke about BMF becoming a target for people to blame crimes on in Atlanta, which led to the authorities looking more at the group. He also spoke about the BMF crew being indicted, which led to Dexter getting 12 years, while Southwest T and Big Meech each got 30 years.

D.L. Hughley starts out by speaking about Tekashi 6ix9ine recently being released from prison due to him being an at-risk patient if he were to catch the coronavirus.
